We are a small family run business who offer riding lessons to all children of all ages. We are fully licenced and insured
We offer tailored 1-1 sessions for children with ASD, ADHD, DOWNS etc.
1-1 or small groups of 3-5
The cancellation policy requires you as a client to give 24hr cancellation notice or you will be expected to pay the full lesson amount

We had a fun few weeks over summer with Pony Pals so will try and run it again!

🐎Learn all about ponies and have lots of fun doing so

Children age 3-8yo 1.00-2.00pm with Anya

Children age 9+ 2.00-3.00pm with Katelynn

"Own" your own pony for a day and done whatever chores incl riding that needs done
Muck out, feed, fill haynets, clean tack ride etc.
This is an opportunity to feel what it feels like to have your own pony and do it all yorself, we will of course supervise to make sure things go ok and everything is safe!

Parents can stay if they want

August Happenings

We are now back to normality after our holiday😀
This month sees the start up of a new Beginners class on a Saturday, a Pamper a Pony Day, Own a Pony Day and an Extra Needs Day as well as training camp and competition!

At first I wasn't sure how to fit things in but we've had sooo many children and parents asking for various activities that I've given it a go!

🐎6th August Pamper a Pony Day
1 riding lesson + stable management + fun games and pizza!

Open to everyone

🐎8th August Own a Pony Day
Come and try owning a pony for a day, do the work and enjoy riding on your own and test your skills (under supervision of course)

We have recently had sad news here at Pony Tales 😢
Its with a heavy and broken heart that I'm writing this!

Our very sweet and lovely pony Babs aka Barbara has unfortunately passed away.
She had what we think was a heart attack the other morning whilst on the yard.
We managed to clear the yard quickly and she took her last breath with myself and Abbie right by her side - she knew she was loved!
She was not over heating and did not show any signs of distress beforehand nor was she an old horse so it really wasn't expected.

Babs was a very loved and valued member of our little team and anyone that was lucky to ride her over the last few years knows what progress she had made from arriving thin and frightened to the happy go lucky jumping crazy speed demon she turned into!

We will always remember her with pricked ears and her tail on her back flying over the jumps!

Our thoughts goes to her lovely sharer Annabel who was with us on the yard when it happened and who is beyond heart broken right now 💔
We hope that she can move forwards knowing that she truly changed a pony's life for the better and Babs would not be who she was without Annabels love, care and determination to make a very headstrong and frightened little pony a fabulous member of our team!
