Dog Days Wirral is celebrating it’s first birthday! 🎂

I can’t believe Dog Days Wirral is celebrating its first birthday already! It feels like just yesterday that I was taking a leap of faith, turning my dream into a reality after being made redundant. I decided to follow my passion for dogs and make my home, a home from home for dogs — and I haven’t looked back since.

The past 12 months have been an absolute joy. I've had the privilege of looking after so many wonderful dogs — each with their unique personalities, quirks, and lots of love and cuddles to share. But what’s been even more special has been the chance to build relationships not only with your furry family members but also with you, their amazing human families.

I wanted to share just a few of the wonderful moments from the journey. From wagging tails and cuddles to cherished memories, it’s been a whirlwind of fun and laughter.

Thank you, each and every one of you for choosing Dog Days Wirral to care for your beloved doggies. It’s been such a privilege, and I’m so grateful for all the trust you’ve placed in me ❤️

Of course, I also have to thank my very own fluffy joy, Pasha. Without her calm and accepting welcome of all the visiting doggies (she’s such a natural hostess!), none of this would have been possible. She has happily shared her toys, treats, beds, and me with so many dogs. I’m so proud of her 🐶

I can’t wait to welcome your dogs back year after year into the Dog Days family. Here’s to many more waggy tails and joyful moments in the years to come!

My apologies to anyone who has tried to contact me or left a message this past week. Pasha and I took a little holiday to Anglesey. We highly recommend it as a very doggy friendly place. Virtually all beaches and most food venues are open for dogs 🐾🐾

The lovely Pippa came for her trial stay on Tuesday, at only 11 months and her first time boarding she settled really well and made a firm friend in Pasha. We can't wait to see her again 💜
