Pooch About Dog Groomer I decided to start my business dog walking, as it was heart breaking having to leave my own dog every day, as I left for work.

I have always loved dogs and have previously owned a beautiful yellow lab, Molly, 2 mischievous west highland terriers, Finley and Fergus, and I am now the owner of a beautiful Siberian husky called Rudy who is five, and Rottie scotty cross, they are both just adorable. A little bit of info about me. I am now also training to level 3 city and guilds in Dog Grooming and and styling.

Hi, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your donations, raffle ticket sales and tips to add to my Trek26 Stonehenge walk. I completed my walk in just over 9 hours and the weather was on our side until the last 3 miles, so a rather soggy finish ❤️ So far, with your help I have raised £1625, and Team Carols total is currently at £2165 which is unbelievable and still rising.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK🤓

One of the hardest lessons in grooming?
You can’t save every dog.

You can do everything right.
Handle with care.
Work with patience.
Advocate. Educate. Slow it down.

And still… some dogs arrive carrying years of fear, pain, neglect, or trauma that your hands alone can’t undo.

That doesn’t make you a bad groomer.
It makes you an ethical one for knowing when to stop, when to refer, when to say this isn’t safe today.

Grooming isn’t about fixing dogs.
It’s about protecting welfare — even when that choice breaks your heart.

If this hit you, you’re not weak.
You’re experienced.
And you’re not alone. 🐾💔
