Some dogs get cake... Bertie got a brand new knee! 🦴🎂

Last week, Bertie celebrated his 11th birthday with us by having TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy). Not quite the birthday he'd have chosen, but an important step towards a pain-free future.

We're wishing Bertie a smooth recovery and many more happy adventures ahead. 💙🐾

Meet the very handsome Hugo! 🐾🐱

Hugo came to us after a period of lameness in his right hind leg. A CT scan revealed a capital physeal femoral fracture – a type of injury most commonly seen in large-breed cats due to delayed closure of the growth plate.

To restore his comfort and mobility, Hugo underwent a Total Hip Replacement, replacing the damaged ball-and-socket joint with artificial implants.

Now, 10 weeks after surgery, we're delighted to share that Hugo is doing incredibly well! He's enjoying life in his newly renovated catio and is almost back to his normal, playful self. We're so pleased with his progress and wish him many more happy adventures ahead! 💙

We had the pleasure of meeting Arnie last week for his TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery.🦴

He was an absolute star throughout his visit and incredibly brave. His favourite carrot stayed by his side the entire time, providing a little extra comfort 🥕🐾

We wish Arnie a smooth and steady recovery and look forward to seeing him back to full strength very soon.🐶💖
