How hot is too hot for a dog walk?☀🌡

Each dog is different, for example Brachycephalic (flat faced), elderly or young, excitable dogs are more at risk of heat stroke, but the below shows a general rule of thumb in terms of care needed when walking your dog in hot weather. 🐶

On World Chocolate Day, it's sensible to keep in mind that chocolate is poisonous to our canine friends. 🐶

Try to keep chocolate out of reach of your dog, but if an accident does happen, these are the symptoms you should keep an eye out for. The poison itself takes between 4 and 24 hours to cause signs which include:
🍫 Muscle stiffness
🍫 Tremors
🍫 Vomiting
🍫 Heart arrhythmias and fitting
