Little Miss Daisy 🌸

Daisy had a bit of an unfortunate event on her walk this afternoon with her pawrents and somehow managed to cut her front leg really badly, requiring a wound stitch up.

She was the bravest girl today and we wish her a speedy recovery, where we know her pawrents will spoil her rotten just like she deserves ❤️

P.s. what a pretty bandage for a pretty girl 🌻

Introducing Flint and his sticky situation

Poor Flint was enjoying his walk with his dad like any other day when he impaled himself on a stick while playing. Flint's dad knew something was wrong straight away and rushed Flint to us. We then discovered that Flint needed emergency treatment and surgery.

Flint was super brave during his recovery and received much needed TLC at home💜

Is your dog a stick chewer? You may want to reconsider 🫣

With the warm temperatures expected to continue until Thursday, we’re making a few short‑term adjustments to help keep all pets, clients, and staff comfortable and safe.

🐾 What this means for appointments:

- We won’t be booking routine appointments or procedures for brachycephalic (flat‑faced) breeds such as Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs and Persians during the hot spell.

- If your pet has a non‑routine appointment, we may ask you to wait in your car with the air conditioning on until you’re called in.

- Unwell pets may need longer appointment times so our team can assess them properly in the heat.

- Routine bookings may be reduced to help us manage waiting times and prioritise pets who need urgent care.

📞 Need to rearrange?
If you have a routine appointment booked this week and would prefer to move it, please give us a call and we’ll happily rearrange it.

🚨 Emergencies
If your pet becomes unwell or you’re worried about heat‑related symptoms, please call us straight away. We will always prioritise emergencies

Meet Brave Buster 🐘

Buster has been the bravest boy today after being hospitalised at our Treforest Branch.
Buster is a very mischievous 9 month old boy who likes to eat things he shouldn't, including his sisters toy elephant!

Buster required surgery and all went well. He is now back home with his family, who we have no doubt are currently spoiling him rotten, just like he deserves! 💙

Well done for being so brave Buster but please stop eating naughty things! ☺️

Unfortunately a ferret has been brought into us this afternoon after being involved in an RTA. She unfortunately succumbed to her injuries before getting to us.

She is a chocolate point ferret with no microchip.

She was found in the Penrhiwfer area and brought in by a member of the public.

If you know who this furry lady belongs to, please call us on 01443421212.
