We lost our beloved Luna yesterday evening— the tiniest kitten we had ever seen, the little one we watched grow day by day until her very last breath. She wasn’t just a pet; she was a cherished member of our Jupiter Crew, right alongside Pluto, Maple, and Freya. Our hearts feel shattered.

Nothing can explain the shock we’re in. It happened so suddenly, with no warning at all — she showed no signs of being unwell. One moment she was here, and the next she was gone. It doesn’t feel real.

We’re keeping a close, loving eye on her brother Pluto now. They were inseparable, completely obsessed with one another, and we can already feel how much he misses her.

My little girl is devastated too. She doesn’t fully understand that Luna won’t be coming back, and watching her try to make sense of that is almost as painful as losing Luna itself.

Our hearts are heavy tonight. Luna, our sweet girl, you were loved more than you will ever know.
