❗️Customer notice please read❗️

As from 1st April I will be introducing a small price increase of £2 per groom. Sadly this is something I’ve had to put in place to help cover increased costs of products and utilities. I hope you all understand and any worries regarding price change please give me a message.

Also due to an increase in ' no shows' of clients who don't attend pre booked appointments there will be a charge of 50% of the groom cost to the client. This is to recover part of my loss. Clients who can't attend will not be effected by this id they have given minimum 24 hours notice so I have the opportunity to fill the appointment slot.

📍CUSTOMER NOTICE PLEASE READ 📍

I know the majority of you are all booked in for Christmas and have been for sometime now. But sadly due to Chloe no longer working for me and unable to work any extra shifts to help out I will now need to do my Christmas diary all over again.
As your all aware I can only work within dobbies opening hours now so it’s simply impossible for me to do 10-11 dogs in one day on my own which i currently have booked in most days leading up to Christmas.

I will re organise my diary the best way I can and do my very best to get everyone in before I close for the Christmas holidays.
Anyone who is flexible with appointments please let me know that will be a massive help.
I’m really sorry for the inconvenience this may cause anyone as I know we all love our pre Christmas grooms.
I am going to sit over the next few days organising appointments and will be in touch if your appointment does need changed ps this could take a while so please be patient 🙈

IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ 📍

Thankfully this is a more positive notice with some good news 😃

Shampooches will be relocating to The Dog House Ponteland which is located in dobbies garden centre which I’m sure most of you know is not far from me at all. The lovely Harriet has agreed to let me continue my business along side hers until I have a new permanent premises in place, thank you Harriet 🥰

Good news is that I will be getting back to work next Tuesday I do however have a lot of reorganising of my diary to do as I’ve had to cancel a lot of appointments this week which I now need to figure out where to fit everyone in as my diary was already full for the next 4 weeks ahead so please if you can be patient with me.
Anyone who had an appointment cancelled this week and their dog is not desperate and could wait an extra week or so please do let me know that would be so appreciated 🙏🏼
Dobbies is open until 6pm so I won’t be able to work late nights like I usually would in the past. So catching up on missed appointments is going to be a challenge but me and Chloe will get there 😊
Anyone with an appointment in the next 4-6 weeks your appointment will stay the same If I do need to move things around to fit extra appointments in I will be in touch.

I will be continuing to work Tuesday - Saturday from hours 9:30am until 6pm

The dog house is based at the back of dobbies next to the aquarium

And I just wanted to thank you all for your patiences through this difficult week and all the lovely messages I have received in the past few days it really does means a lot ❤️

IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ 📍

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to inform you all that today I got the news that I will have to close my salon from home immediately due the neighbours next door and their constant complaints

Please note that it won’t be the end of Shampooches I’m doing everything i possibly can to find a new premises as soon as possible that is local to Ponteland so you won’t all have to travel to far. Tomorrow I’m also meeting with a lovely local groomer to see if I could potentially move to her salon temporarily until a new premises has been found, as the last thing I want is to close for a while and you all to be forced to go somewhere else for the welfare of your furbaby

All customers for appointments this week I will be in touch with you all if you are booked in, but if you have read this post please do let me know

Also anyone who may know of any premises in the area that is, or soon will be coming up for renting please let me know 🙏🏼

I’m so sorry it’s gotten to this and the inconvenience I’ve caused having to cancel appointments, but please just give me a little time and hopefully it will all work out in the end 😊

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE
Please read 😊

As of 2023 deposits of £20 per dog will be taking to secure any booking made in the new year, £30 for extra large breeds
Unfortunately I’m still getting a lot of no shows and this has a huge effect on a small business as not always can I fill the appointments that have been cancelled last minute or not showed up to.

I know a lot of you have already booked in your next appointments for the new year, but there is no panic as you can pay anytime up to a week before you appointments and that can be done by bank transfer, just let me know if you need my details sent over to you.
Anyone who doesn’t have online banking please just give me a message and I will sort out another option for you 😊

All deposits will be carried onto any cancelled appointments if 48hrs notice is given
Please note any last minute cancellations and no shows will loose their deposit and will need to pay another to secure another appointment.

Im sorry to have to put on such a low mood post on at this time of year

I know alot of my lovely customers have already suggested taking deposits and understand my reason for doing so and I feel now starting a new year is the right time to do so.
