Hello I just wanted to give you all a quick update on my return to work after having my beautiful little girl roux 🥰
I’m sorry its a long post and I apologise it’s took so long I’ve completely been in my newborn bubble and loved every second ❤️

Unfortunately I have good news and bad news the good news is that I will be returning to work in Newcastle in September my first day back will be Saturday 12th the bad news is that I will only be able to work one day a week which will be a Friday and I will also be doing one Saturday a month for people who can’t do a week day
A lot of you know I now live 45 mins drive away from ponteland and now I have a baby I can no longer do that long travel every day as I don’t have the childcare
Unfortunately that does mean I will have to cut down my clients by quite a bit which makes me so sad but I do have some good news and that is we now have a lovely new groomer called Colleen working 3 days a week in the salon and she’s more than happy to take on any of my clients
She’s an amazing groomer and has 15 years experience please follow her page The Barking Barber Ponteland she will be happy to answer any questions regarding grooming and appointments 😊

I’m going to be super busy as you can imagine so appointments will be first come first served and as regards to who I will be keeping on my books it generally will be all my original clients who I’ve groomed for some years now, I will be in touch over the next coming days to everyone but please bare with me it may take some time with this little one taking up so much of my time 🙈
A lot of you I spoke to before I went on maternity about keeping you on my books on my return so that shouldn’t of changed 😊

My first day back to work will be Saturday 12th September then al be in Friday 18th and every Friday from then onwards
I will work out which Saturday I will be working with the other girls in the salon and put them dates up on my page soon

Any messages I will get back to you as soon as I can so please bare with me on responses

Hi everyone this is a difficult post for me to do but sadly I’ve not been left with much choice and think it’s time I put my health first
These past few weeks at work have been very challenging, Im in agony with my back and now to top it off I can barely walk with my swollen feet and ankles which is really making working long hours and being on my feet all day very difficult and is so painful.
I’ve been advised by my midwife and doctor to take it easy and keep my feet elevated as much as I can for these last 3 weeks of my pregnancy which unfortunately means I will have to cut my working hours right back for these last two weeks which I feel absolutely terrible about as these last two weeks are my busiest as I’ve tried to squeeze as many of you in before my maternity starts.
Anyone who is happy to cancel their appointments due to dog not being desperate or you have another groomer who is able to get you booked in please let me know it would be greatly appreciated
I guess I’ve been a little naive with this being my first pregnancy thinking working to 39 weeks would be fine

Just wanted to put a little post up as my maternity leave is coming up so quickly just 6 weeks left at work and 7 weeks until my due date 🩷
My last working week is first week in June and I’m hoping to return to work beginning of September I will only be part time when I return and I will have to have set working days which I don’t know what days they will be yet until I get my nursery days confirmed
As you can imagine I’m going to be super busy when I return I will post a reopening date soon as I have one and appointments will be first come first served so please keep following my page for any updates

Since I’m going to be off over the summer I would recommend you get booked in with another groomer as I’d hate for your beloved fur babies to suffer with being overdue a groom due to my absence

There is also the new salon opening in ponteland on the front street which I’m not sure if it has a opening date yet

Also I’ve had quite a few missed appointments recently please can you check your appointments or message me if you are unsure of them as I can’t guarantee another appointment for you as I’m fully booked now until my maternity leave
