One of our favourite additions to this pond renovation was this custom planter waterfall.

Not only does it create a beautiful focal point, but the flowing water also helps increase oxygen levels, improve circulation, and add that relaxing sound that every pond deserves. 🌿🌊

By combining aquatic planting with a practical water feature, we’ve created something that’s both functional and visually stunning. The fish benefit from improved water movement, while the owners get a peaceful garden feature they can enjoy all year round.

Sometimes it’s the smaller details that bring a whole pond to life.

🐟 Pond Transformation Complete! 🐟

What started as a leaking, tired pond in need of some serious TLC has now been transformed into a beautiful feature that both the fish and the owners can enjoy for years to come.

For this project we:
✅ Completely relined the pond
✅ Repaired and rebuilt the waterfall system
✅ Installed new coping stones/topper around the pond edges
✅ Improved water flow and circulation
✅ Added planting areas and finishing touches
✅ Ensured the fish remained safe throughout the process

The result is a cleaner, more natural-looking pond with improved functionality, better aesthetics, and a stunning waterfall feature that brings the whole garden to life.

Not all pet care is the same… and sometimes that matters.

At Creature Cove, we know we’re not always the cheapest option out there — and that’s intentional.

What we offer isn’t just someone popping in to drop food in a bowl and leave. We bring years of hands-on experience with reptiles, aquatics, exotics, and complex animal care. From marine systems and specialist diets to temperature-sensitive reptiles and unusual species, these are animals we work with every day.

When everything is going smoothly, pet care can look easy.
But the real difference shows when something isn’t right.

Because we know what “normal” looks like for these animals, we’re able to spot when something is off — whether that’s:

• A fish behaving differently in the tank
• A reptile showing early signs of shedding issues or dehydration
• Water parameters drifting in an aquarium
• A heat or humidity issue in an enclosure
• An animal refusing food or showing subtle stress signals

Where someone without specialist knowledge might not notice — or might leave it until it becomes a real problem — we catch it early and know how to respond.

Sometimes that means adjusting care.

Meet this absolute tank legend 🖤🐟

This is a pleco in all its armoured, prehistoric glory. Built like a little freshwater dinosaur, plecos are known for their tough plated bodies, powerful fins, and incredible ability to adapt and thrive when cared for properly.

Despite the “algae eater” reputation, fish like this need space, strong filtration, good flow, and a proper diet to stay healthy long-term. When given the right setup, they become intelligent, interactive fish with huge character — and yes, they can get very big 👀

This one is a perfect example of why we always say research + correct tank size matters. Stunning, impressive, and not for the faint-hearted.
