🚫 One reason I might refuse to take you on as a client…
You got a working breed but don’t want to meet their working breed needs.
Before the comments start, no, this doesn’t mean your dog needs to spend 8 hours herding sheep or hunting pheasants. 😅
But if you have a Border Collie that never gets to use its brain…
A Spaniel that never gets to sniff…
A Terrier that never gets to dig, search or problem solve…
A Shepherd that never gets a job to do…
Then don’t be surprised when they create their own entertainment.
Most “problem behaviours” aren’t because dogs are naughty.
They’re often bored, frustrated, under stimulated,
or simply doing exactly what they were bred to do.
Training is important.
But training without fulfilment is like trying to put a lid on a boiling kettle. Eventually the steam finds a way out.
If you can relate, give me a message and let’s book in for a free phone consultation!
