☀️🐾 Hot weather reminder for all dog parents 🐾☀️

As much as our dogs love their walks, the summer heat can be dangerous for them. Pavements can become far too hot for sensitive paws, and dogs can quickly overheat — especially our older pups, fluffy breeds, and little short-nosed friends. 💛

On warmer days, walks are best kept to the cooler mornings or later evenings, with plenty of water breaks and shady spots along the way. If the pavement feels too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. 🐶

Sometimes the safest thing we can do is swap a long walk for some gentle play, enrichment at home, or a shorter sniffy stroll instead. Keeping our dogs happy also means keeping them safe. 🌿
