☀️ Extreme Heat Warning – Keep Your Pets Safe 🐾☀️

With this heatwave, we kindly advise keeping walks to a minimum. Puzzle feeders and stimulation toys are a lovely way to keep your pet entertained without the exertion of a walk 🐾
No walk is worth the risk on hot days, keeping your dog cool at home really could save their life.

⚠️ Please watch for signs of heatstroke, including:
- Excessive panting or drooling
- Lethargy or restlessness
- Vomiting or collapse

If you’re concerned your pet may be overheating, move them somewhere cool and contact the Market Weighton Hospital on 01430 873219 as soon as possible.

Heatstroke can develop quickly and needs urgent attention.
