Today we are saying goodbye to one of the originals. 🕷️💔

This is Boo, one of my very first jumping spiders. He arrived on the very same day as Charlie (from different breeders), and together they were the beginning of my jumping spider journey. They were also the two little spiders that started my journey of overcoming my arachnophobia – something I never imagined would one day lead to Spood Pimp.

Boo was never the biggest boy for his locale and, as an adult, he wasn’t the most enthusiastic eater. But that never stopped him from living out his best life as a bachelor. He spent almost 13 months with me, and as he was already around i6/i7 when I welcomed him home, so he reached a perfectly respectable age for an adult male.

It’s always very sad losing these tiny companions. They may only be with us for a short time, but they leave a lasting impression. It’s a very sad day indeed.

Run free over the rainbow web, little Boo. Thank you for being one of the spiders that started it all. 🌈🕸️

I’m having a naff few days, but this little lady has been quietly watching my every move and it’s impossible not to smile.

This is Bethany Mog-Mig.

I named her after one of my daughter’s childhood toys that she named.

What do we think, cute? Or just weird?

Either way, I love it! And I love her. She’s just precious! 🥰

I am honest I am a small at home business and I've tried my absolute best to try keep it as cool as possible I well feed and maintain good healthy insects they don't get tubbed and left for months with a tiny bit of bran on a shelf there always well fed healthy and active before they get tubbed and they don't get tubbed till the order comes in for them as I started my business to provide good quality insects Around north Ayrshire and the wider uk because I do genuinely care about the well being of my insects I might be small just now but I hope it will grow from a wee summer house out in my garden to something a lot bigger so I need your help come buy some bugs for your Reptile, Amphibians and Invertebrates here at InsectVerseuk.square.site if your local give us a message to place your order thanks James at InsectVerse Uk

💜🕷️ Phidippus Regius Care Guide 🕷️💜

One of the questions I’m asked most often is “How do I care for my jumping spider?” or “Do you have a care sheet?”

So I’ve put together this beginner-friendly guide covering the basics of keeping Phidippus regius happy and healthy.

Every keeper has their own methods, but this is the husbandry I use and recommend based on my own experience keeping these incredible little spiders.
