Yesterday I completely wiped my hands of Faraday Mill Business Park. Final bills paid, deposit finally returned. I’m glad to be rid of it, and I don’t like to complain on here but I will find it in my heart to do so! My treatment whilst I was there was pitiful, the place was poorly insulated and mouldy; I was constantly at blame for this and the managers refused to fix this. The cost for this dingy unit was astronomical given the fact it was unfit for purpose, the place stank of sewage half the time, and there was literally a hole in my roof and the back wall.
As a first time business owner, I’m glad I had a place to establish my business and get started. Unfortunately some things you just can’t predict. The managers decided to accuse me of breaching my contract, a falsehood which they did not apologise for, and when they in turn breached the contract of my tenancy seemed to think this was no big deal. I had to fight tooth and nail to get back money that was owed to me
If you’re thinking of starting a business, please avoid Faraday Mill like the plague. Don’t get me wrong, there are some fantastic businesses there and please continue to use them and support independent. But if you want to start your own business, I’d suggest a cardboard box before this place
