🧐🐩 What your dog's movements mean
🐾 Lay paw and/or head on something: For example on the back of another dog or on the owner's thighs - surely seen before, right? In the game this is used to test a challenger and his position. When flirting, the willingness of the female is tested this way. As a ritual between human and dog it serves to establish contact but can also be a demand - for example for treats.
😕 Bump into: Can be an intentional, more or less violent physical contact to test the steadiness of the opponent. The distinction between accidental and intentional is extremely important.
👌 Intentional movements: These should not be underestimated, because they are intentional only hinted movements, which do not go to the end of their function, but only give a hint of the action. They inform the counterpart of the readiness for a certain action, for example, biting in the air.
🐾 Mounting: No matter whether it is on other dogs or humans, mounting is sexually motivated and often associated with an er****on and pelvic movements. This is of course often very unpleasant or even embarrassing. Nevertheless, it is natural and socially motivated in the game to test a challenger and his reaction. Moreover, it is and remains a ritual to confirm one's own social position.

🐾 Pfote und/oder Kopf auflegen: Beispielsweise auf den Rücken eines anderen Hundes oder beim Besitzer auf die Oberschenkel - sicher schonmal gesehen, oder? Im Spiel dient das dazu, einen Herausforderer und seine Position auszutesten. Beim Flirt wird auf diese Weise die Bereitschaft der Hündin geprüft. Als Ritual zwischen Mensch und Hund dient es zur Kontaktaufnahme aber auch als Forderung - Beispielsweise von Leckerlis.
😕 Anrempeln: Kann ein absichtlicher, mehr oder weniger heftiger Körperkontakt sein, um die Standfestigkeit des Gegenübers zu testen. Die Unterscheidung zwischen versehentlich und absichtlich ist dabei immens wichtig.
👌 Intentionsbewegungen: Diese sind nicht zu unterschätzen, denn sie sind absichtlich nur angedeutete Bewegungen, die nicht bis zum Ende ihrer Funktion gehen, sondern die Handlung nur ahnen lassen. Sie teilen dem Gegenüber die Bereitschaft zu einer bestimmten Handlung mit, so zum Beispiel in die Luft schnappen.
🐾 Aufreiten: Egal ob auf andere Hunde oder Menschen, das Aufreiten ist sexuell motiviert und oft mit einer Erektion und Beckenbewegungen verbunden. Das ist natürlich oft sehr unangenehm oder auch peinlich. Dennoch ist es natürlich und im Spiel sozial motiviert, um einen Herausforderer und seine Reaktion anzutesten. Zudem ist und bleibt es ein Ritual, um die eigene soziale Position zu bestätigen.
