Introducing rupert (aka rupe)

Rupe belongs to a friend of mine who bought him unbacked for her baby and has asked me to help back him and get him child friendly for when her son is old enough

Hes currently 4years old and standing 11.1 ish but needs to be measured.

For the past 1-2 months we have just let him be a pony whilst he settled into his new home and routine and tonight we decided to start doing some gradual work with him, he’s had abit of ground work done with him and has briefly been leant over in the past

Rupe was absolutely amazing tonight taking it all in his stride by allowing me to lean over him and eventually have a sit on him once he relaxed I got off and gave him some scratches as they seem to be his favourite thing ( yes I should of had a hat on but was only on his for 10 seconds if that)

Look forward to doing some more work with him, he’s going to be a cracking little pony for baby Jaxon 🤍

Sock’s🩵

Sock’s is one of my new clients that’s I’m currently working with, I’m in the process of breaking him in but we’re taking it very slowly. He’s already showing so massive improvements since the first session last week, allowing me to catch him first time and was eager to come in to learn more. He’s definitely going to be a cracking pony once he’s a little more established 🩵

I haven’t posted in a while so I thought I’d give an update this is crosbie an ex point to point I have taken on, he’s a 12 year old 16.1 ( rough estimate) thoroughbred who was trained to race and show jump in between races.

When I first got him he was quite skinny and run down, I was told he was very dangerous out hacking and would vertical rear and flip on his riders, his school work was nearly all there he had some quirks that needed to be worked on, but with some blood sweat and tears he’s now hacking out amazingly alone and in company he still naps a little bit at something he don’t like but will go through it with some persuasion. In the school he’s now starting to collect his canter and listen to my aids instead of rushing off at everything I ask.

Crosbie will be staying with me he’s Stole a place in my heart with maz.

This is arwyn, he is owned by a lady on my yard, arwyn is a 2 year old Andalusian, his owner wanted me to work on some desensitisation work with him and getting him standing nicely and also picking up his feet.

We worked on the tarpaulin getting him to walk over it and he eventually let me put it on his back and we had a little walk around the school 😍 he has so much potential for a 2 year old
