Focus on rabbits 🔎 🐇

Meet lovely Bambi who has been in recently for a teeth check and burring.

🐇 🦷 We commonly see rabbits with dental issues.

🐇 🦷 Always provide a good quality hay as the main part of your rabbit’s diet, alongside special rabbit pellets.

🐇🦷 Monitor for any signs of pain, swelling or drooling around the mouth, which could indicate dental issues.

🐇🦷 Rabbits who are not eating or passing faeces are in serious danger of gut stasis, where their food does not move through the guts, so always bring a rabbit to us as soon as you see a lack of or reduction in appetite.

🐇🦷 Book an appointment with our experienced vets if you are concerned about your rabbit.

What a lovely change to our furry patients. This is Sushi who has been in recently for a microchip, yes we do microchip tortoises. Stray tortoises are more common than you would think, often wandering further than they should! 🐢 ♥️
