Bird's are looking so well now and some are even starting to lay again, took them a couple days but they've bounced back. I'm now waiting on my lovely hen to start laying 🤞

Some hard news to announce but yesterday morning my breeder shed was devastated by an electrical fire. I saved what I could but I lost some precious bird's and lost all my equipment. I'm beyond broken right now.
I'm reaching out to anyone who has had bird's off me, especially Mottled's as they didn't all make it out. If you could get in touch with me through here or my email address if you can assist in any way to help me rebuild my lines I would be forever grateful, even if it's something that has a dose of mine in it.
I have had some amazing offers of support to assist in keeping me going and to help out where they can but the losses of some of those bird's has really set me back and has been mentally damaging. I lost some fantastic Lavender's too, I only managed to save 3 pens out of 7. I am so so lucky they were stock males and some of the losses offspring are out in the garden so I can rebuild there but my Mottled's I was very limited on spares😞

Daughter's male. She decided she wants to have lavender mottled for herself so I'll give her one of my typey lavender hen's to pair up for her to set and hatch her own this year. He's fiesty. Colour needs cleaned up but I'll help her with that.

Ended the 2025 breeding well with this male. Low, wide, short backed, showy and plenty rise already. Happy with that

Sister to the male. Of a different shade in the top colour. Lacing is there. Doesn't leak into the back.

Plenty of green sheen coming on this Birchen male. Nice lacing. Clean head. Looks a decent width. Slight leakage on the shoulders, early to say how much it will affect him

Young lady was chuffed to bits winning Junior Champion at Keith Fur and Feather. She got stuck in on prep night to get her bird ready for show day.
