Time to introduce our next VIP 🤩

Meet Ash the gorgeous 2 year old Lurcher 🐶

Ash is a gentle giant, with typical Lurcher traits. Super chill at home, but always on the lookout for something to chase when he’s out 🐦🐰

As well as the initial meet and greet, we’ve had a “get to know you” walk before the big day. Getting to know the dogs that we chaperone is so important, for us and them, which is why it’s included in all of our packages.

I can’t wait to accompany him to his pawrents wedding at the beautiful Boxted Hall 💒🤍

This weekend I have had the privilege of taking care of gorgeous Elli, and yesterday I had the honour of chaperoning her to her owners wedding at The Garden Barn 💒🤍

A beautiful day at a stunning dog friendly venue, with plenty of natural shade for us to stay cool 🌳😅

Elli took it all in her stride. She made sure she said hello to the guests, before watching the ceremony from the safety of the shade, and most importantly being on hand to star in the official photos 📸

Time to introduce our next VIP to join the pack 👀

Meet Elli the 13 year old mixed terrier 🐶

This sweet girl loves people, so is ready to welcome all the lovely guests to her pawrents wedding at The Garden Barn 💒🤍

We spent some time together earlier this week to get to know each other better, and I can’t wait to take care of her and help her be part of the special day 🥰

Look who’s turned 1 🎉🎉

Happy birthday to our little firecracker, the Chas to our Dave 🥰

Nearly 6 months ago a timid little boy came home with us, within hours our big boy Dave was sharing his bed, his toys and his mum & dad.

Although he’s still not 100% sure of the world at times, he has come on leaps and bounds and is loving life.

Of course he is still a young dog, which brings challenges, but he is a funny, loving little character (who is completely bonkers at times) and we wouldn’t change him.

Happy birthday Chas, our crazy ginger ninja 🥷 💙🐾

Just a friendly reminder of safe temperatures to walk your dogs 😎

If you are unsure, please please please look for recommendations from trusted organisations like the RSPCA, Dogs Trust or Veterinarians.

Sadly there are even dog professionals out there on Instagram calling people out for not walking in the heatwave and “disturbing dogs routines”. This is nonsense, as no dog died from missing a walk 😔

If in doubt, don’t go out!

🌞🌞 Heatwave Incoming 🌞🌞

Although I was hoping I’d been lucky and missed the heatwave while we were on holiday, it’s making a come back this coming week 😔

With temperatures set to reach 29-33°C every day this coming week, I will be doing early walks only (if possible) as well as pop-in visits for those that need it.

I am sorting my diary and will be planning 2 days in advance to make decisions based on the latest information, while giving customers as much notice as possible and doing my best to accommodate as many as I can.

Priority will be given to dogs whose owners are out at work all day and those who are unable to walk their dogs.

Whilst this isn’t ideal, as well as coming with a financial impact to my business, the welfare and safety of the dogs in my care will ALWAYS come first 🥰

Thank you for your support and understanding, as always. Hopefully temperatures will come back down to a more comfortable level for our four-legged friends soon (paws crossed) 🐶🤞🏻
