Welcome to Monday's swim group, Kt’s K9s doggy friends! 💦

These lucky pooches certainly put their dewclaws up and made a splash at Lodge Farm Dog Park Thorney’s wonderful ‘Water Paws’ dog park.

Tilly (Spaniel): Formally identifying as a seal. She was bopping about in the water non-stop! 🦭

Delilah (Labrador): Finally has somewhere official to wet her paws—meaning her owners might actually get their hot tub back now! 🤣

Casper (Boxer): Was his usual beautifully bouncy, playful self, keeping everyone entertained. ♥️

Mars (Beagle): Deemed it necessary to sniff all 4.5 acres of the beautiful park. 🌳

🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Doggy Playgroup Cancellation (Tuesday 26th May) 🐾

Hi everyone,
With the heat forecasted tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th, we have made the tough but necessary decision to cancel tomorrow's Doggy Playgroup.
Your dog’s safety is always our top priority, and it's going to be too hot for them to run around and play safely outside. 🔥☀️

Need us to check on your pup? 🏡🐕
If you are at work or out for the day, we are offering home visits instead. We can drop by to:

🚾 Let your dog out for a quick toilet break

💧 Refresh their water bowls with nice, cold water

💨 Make sure they are staying cool and comfortable indoors

Want to book a home visit?
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can get your dog on our route for tomorrow.

As a dog professional, I’m used to handling all kinds of canine personalities. But when it came to my own French Bulldog, I found myself needing a helping hand.
Back in January, we heartbreakingly lost her best friend, my beloved Bulldog, Boss. Grief affects dogs just as it does us, and soon after, her behavior changed. On walks, she became highly aroused and began screaming whenever she saw another dog—a completely new and stressful behavior for her (and me!)
I reached out to Rebecca at Woofles Dog Training & Walking .
Rebecca understood that her behavior was coming from grief and anxiety, and she was so patient with her. She explained the strategies we are putting into place clearly. I feel hopeful that with Rebecca’s help our walks will become enjoyable and less stressful for both of us.

Look at that happy face 🤩 a lovely little 121 session today working on confidence building and being able to feel more comfortable when other dogs are approaching 😊

Happy 5th Birthday to the one and only Dennis! 🐾🎂

Our favorite Wire-haired Dachshund is hitting the big 5 today! When he’s at doggy playgroup, those little legs definitely don't slow him down—he’s usually found zooming past his friends or showing off his mountain-climbing skills on the play equipment. 🧗‍♂️

If he’s not on the move, you can find him happily rolling in the grass or following the humans for a fuss.

We love you, Dennis! Hope your day is filled with extra treats and the perfect patches of grass. 🦴🎾

🎉 Happy 3rd Birthday, Mars! 🐾

Can we get a "AWOOOO" for the birthday boy? 🐶📣

Our Beagle friend, Mars, is turning the big 3 today! If you’ve ever been at Lodge Farm Dog Park Thorney when we pull up, you’ve definitely heard his signature "excitement howl"—it’s basically his way of announcing that the party has officially arrived. 🥳

Mars has his playgroup routine down to a science:

• The Perimeter Check: First things first, he has to sniff every single inch of the fence (safety first!). 🕵️‍♂️

• The Big Chase: Once the scouting is done, it’s all about high-speed tag with his best buds.

• The Social Butterfly: While he’s a little reserved with new faces, he’s a total legend among the regulars.

• The One & Only: He definitely has a "type"—his heart belongs to his bestie, Emily the Husky! 🐺❤️

Happy Birthday, Mars! Thanks for bringing so much energy and "vocal talent" to our sessions. Here’s to many more laps around the field! 🎂

Happy 2nd Birthday to our resident class clown, Casper the Boxer! 🤡🎈

He’s a huge, clumsy boy that everyone can’t help but adore. Whether he’s handing out kisses to every dog and human at Wednesday playgroup or zooming around with his friends, he’s always the life of the party!

He has a special relationship with his bestie, Pablo the Boston, who officially receives 100% more kisses than everyone else combined. 💋

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our blue-eyed boy, Pablo the Boston Terrier! 🐾

Pablo is the life of the party here at playgroup. Whether he’s mid-sprint, finding the perfect patch of grass to roll in, or joining a game of chase, he’s doing it with 110% energy.

Pablo’s Birthday To-Do List:

• 👃 Sniff every single blade of grass.

When you’re a Leap Year pup like Polly, one day of celebrating just isn't enough. 🥳

Since the calendar is missing her "real" day this year, her family will be celebrating her for two days!

Two years of sass, 2,000 miles of walks (probably, this tiny girl has lots of energy), and one very patient Frenchie bestie named Genie. 🐶❤️
