We received a lovely email from a customer earlier this week. They were visiting town and said:

“I bought a bag of your Leo’s Platinum turkey & rice and a pack of Carnilove wild boar and rosehip treats on Friday while we were in Oundle. My Jack Russell, Hardy, thinks Christmas has come - he loves both. We shall make sure that when we visit Oundle (for Colemans of Oundle and hopefully the new bookshop) we shall now include your shop in our visit.”

Did you know we have a charity book stand outside the shop? All donations go to Cancer Research UK and we ask you donate only what you are able too rather than setting a price for each book.

We believe reading should be accessible to everyone (and help raise a little bit of money too!)

We like to make sure there is a wide range of books available - if you’re having a clear out of books you’ve read recently, please do drop them in to the shop to help us keep raising money

Join us on Saturday 16th May for a full day of vintage fun in the heart of Oundle - featuring live music, dancing, classic vehicles, vintage stalls, family entertainment, fairground attractions and so much more.

16th May is the Vintage Festival in Oundle. As long as the weather is nice we’ll be running a tombola (as is traditional!) outside the shop

If you have anything suitable for donation please leave it in the shop before then. We like to have a range of prizes so there is something for everyone - but please no alcohol
