Going through some of the old archive photos of my days working at Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary & Wildlife Centre and Sacrewell. It has bought back so many happy memories from both of these works places, I made some amazing connections with humans aswell and animals - a dream job, some might say.
I learned an incredible amount of skills and knowledge when I decided to follow my passion in working with animals. Now running a business as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, I can confidently and happily say I worked hard to achieve that dream and strongly advise any one to do the same. If you identify your passion, don’t hold back for anyone or anything thing - always give it your best shot, at least you can say you tried! 🫶🏻🐾❤️

Today at Danni Dolittle Dog Walking and Pet Services Headquarters , we had a different type of four legged friend needing our help, but this time with more prickles than fur. Time to put my old wildlife rehabilitation skills to the test.
Wish this little guy some luck, he was found during the daytime staggering the streets so we’ve scooped him up and checked him over, hopefully with some loving, warm care and a bit of fattening up with high protein food and juicy mealworms he’ll be ready for the colder months ahead. 🦔🐾❤️

A lovely run around at Hills and Holes with my two little summer holiday helpers. A nice treat for us all as we haven’t completed this walk in a while, exploring the woods and rolling down hills.
Safe to say everyone’s legs were aching after all the hills we ran up and down.

A Sad Goodbye to Sweet Honey 🍯🐾

Today we say a very heartfelt and emotional goodbye to one of our long-time favourites—Honey.

Due to a change in her family’s circumstances, we’ll no longer be walking her, and it’s honestly such a sad day for all of us at Danni Dolittle Dog Walking and Pet Services.

We’ve known Honey since she was a tiny, happy, energetic puppy—bounding out the door full of life and joy. From those early days of sniffing out every single banana on her walks (yes, every one!) to helping her learn recall and loads of other tricks, it’s been such an incredible journey watching her grow into the beautiful, clever, and spirited dog she is today.

Honey has made so many furry friends along the way, and we know they’ll miss her just as much as we will. Her playful energy, cheeky charm, and that wagging tail were a daily highlight for everyone.

Thank you to Honey’s lovely family for letting us be part of her life. We wish you all the very best—and Honey, you’ll always have a place in the Danni Dolittle family 💛

Farewell & Thank You, Ruby Hunnybun 🐾❤️

Today we say a bittersweet goodbye to our wonderful team member, Ruby, as she steps away from her role as a dog walker and pet sitter at Danni Dolittle Dog Walking and Pet Services

From the countless miles walked in every kind of weather, to the early mornings, late nights, and weekends filled with furry cuddles, Ruby has given so much of herself to every single pet and person she’s cared for. Her flexibility, passion, dedication, commitment, and loyalty have never gone unnoticed—we’re beyond grateful for the energy and heart she’s brought to the team.

The dogs will miss their walks. The cats will miss their quiet, calm company. The guinea pigs will miss those gentle hands and kind voice. And we, as a team and family, will miss Ruby just as much.

Wishing you all the very best in your next chapter, Ruby. Wherever your path takes you, know that you’ve made paw prints on a lot of hearts here. 💛

We love our holiday pop-in visits for this lovely family. It’s so nice to see beautiful Minnie the cat again.

🎉🐾 6 Years of Danni Dolittle Dog Walking and Pet Services! 🐾🎉

I can’t believe it’s been SIX whole years since I started this amazing journey — and what a ride it’s been! 🙌

From catching a 10 mile bus journey to Whittlesey for my very first dog walk, to now running a thriving business, purchasing my first dog walking van, managing a local dog park, and even helping others through our community WhatsApp support group — it’s been an unforgettable adventure filled with wagging tails, muddy paws, and more than a few slobbery kisses! 🐶💕

Over the years, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many incredible dogs (and their lovely humans!). Some have become friends for life, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you who have supported me, trusted me with your pets, or cheered me on along the way. 🥹❤️

Here’s to all the belly rubs, zoomies, rainy walks, and sunny adventures — and to the next 6 years of doing what I love most. Thank you for being part of the Danni Dolittle journey! 🐕💫

Interesting docu about oversea rescue dogs. Helps to bring awareness of the risks of imported dogs, fraudulent docs, Brucella Canis disease aswell as unlicensed adoption and rescue centres, where the vital checks are not being completed.

It is a wonderful and heart warming opportunity to rehome a rescue dog, giving it a second life. But please ensure the necessary checks on the rescue organisation including vaccinations etc are completed first before allowing a dog into your home.

With some new owners finding their pets exposed to unexpected disease, vets’ bills and heartache when adopting rescue dogs from abroad, is there enough oversight of the sector?
