Would you open your heart and sponsor one of our special Greyhound Groups this Christmas? πŸ’šπŸΎ

Poorly Pooches:

Some greyhounds come into our care needing a little extra help - whether they’re recovering from injury, managing long-term conditions, or simply arriving in poor health. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

πŸ€• These lovely hounds deserve the same chance at comfort and happiness as any other.

Our Poorly Pooches sponsorship helps to make that possible. πŸ’š

Your support contributes to vital treatment, medication and ongoing care, giving every greyhound the best chance to heal and move forward into a loving home. 🏑

You’ll also receive updates in our Homer magazine, showing how your kindness is helping.

Sponsor today: greyhoundtrust.org.uk/support-us/sponsor-a-greyhound.

Thank you. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’š

We know it can be tempting to share your festive favourites with your pets, but here is some food for thought before you do πŸ‘€

If you can't resist sneaking the dog a few scraps from your Christmas dinner, make sure you know what's safe for them to enjoy and what is best avoided.

And remember, what seems like a tiny portion to us can be a lot for your pet.

Unsafe foods include: gravy, stuffing, anything containing garlic, onion or leek, bones, chocolate, mince pies, panettone and anything containing currants, raisins and sultanas. Foods that are safe in small amounts include: roast potatoes, bacon, sausage and cranberry]
