Our Hunter Trial on Sunday 4th May is a qualifier for The Scottish Hunter Trial Championships to be held at Foresterseat, on Sunday 21st September, over a new championship course.
All placings 1st to 6th in 80cm, 90cm and 1m qualify and any clears in top 10.

With just 7 days left until entries close for our Hunter Trial on Sunday 4th May, there are classes for everyone. An assisted/lead rein 30cm shortened course class, right up to 1.10m course. Pairs classes at 60cm and 80cm too. Riders can continue if eliminated and can jump lower jumps if required for 15 penalties. Entries are on equoevents. Hope to see you then.

Our next event is a Hunter Trial, over a slightly changed course, on Sunday 4th May.
We will be taking donations again for this amazing charity in support of our late friend Dougie, who recently died from this in a matter of weeks, so quick, no warning and no time.
Please bring a handful of change with you to help us donate to this research to help save others. Donations are sitting at £5943.13, it would be great if we could get the total over £6000! Thank you 🙏

We would like to say a huge thank you to you all for very kindly donating to the AMMF, The Cholangiocarcinoma Charity, which is raising awareness and working to achieve earlier diagnosis and effective treatment for this very rare and challenging form of cancer that has devastated our friends lives in a matter of weeks. They have created a charity collection for those who wish to donate online.
Dougie’s daughter was our first rider out on the 1.10m course on Sunday, his other daughter was filming and grooming for her, and his wife was helping me with lots of jobs, from teas and coffees, thanking the volunteers and in the start/finish team.
Dougie’s family, and all of us at Foresterseat Cross Country, would like to say a massive thank you for helping to raise just over £170 on Sunday. 👏🙏

In memory of our dear friend Douglas (Dougie) Ogilvie. 😢

Our biggest thanks go to our wonderful volunteers, who turn up early in the morning and are last to leave, and are so friendly, welcoming and supportive throughout the day.

Please remember to check in at tent on arrival tomorrow, and if you have any spare pennies, we are putting out a charity collection box at the secretary tent, in memory of our dear friend who lost his life recently to this awful disease. Times are available on equoevents in the document section, for our PAF competition on Sunday.
The course can be walked from 2pm on Saturday, dogs are very welcome but must be on leads at all times and please pick up after them.
Please follow the FSXC signs as there is a one way system in place to avoid meeting large lorries and tractors.

Can You Help?
We are looking for a few more jump judges and stewards for our event on Sunday 6th April.
You will be very well looked after with lunches and refreshments provided and plenty of home baking.
A whole day or half day to suit.
No experience necessary as all training will be given.
