✨ Grand Champion ✨

We took Cara (Melkelter Lady Of the Loch, bred by Gwen & Paul Phillips), to the joint Durham County Cat Club & Northern Counties Cat Club Shows in South Sheilds on Saturday.

She needed one Grand Challenge Certificate to gain her new title. She won the Grand class at both shows and is now officially - subject to GCCF confirmation - a Grand Champion.

Huge thanks to all her judges - Mr Steve Crow, Mrs Lynda Ashmore, Mrs Catherine Kaye & Mrs Rosemary Fisher 💕

The very handsome Dex - Ruiseanach Achray, from our very first Ruiseanach litter, has clearly grown into his royal status.

Looking every inch the monarch in his smart harness, he has been out surveying his kingdom with that calm, confident elegance only a Russian Blue can pull off.

There is something wonderfully majestic about him — head high, whiskers forward, taking in every breeze and birdsong like a true ruler of the realm 👑

His humans may think they’re taking him for a walk… but we all know Dex is simply inspecting his lands 😉

Growing Up… But Still Mummy’s Babies 💙

Our kittens are getting braver by the day — exploring further, climbing higher and discovering new mischief at every turn.

Their confidence is blooming, their personalities are shining… and yet, no matter how adventurous they become, they always come running back to their mummy for comfort, cuddles and milk.

There’s nothing sweeter than watching them take on the world — then curl up in a tiny heap beside her, purring away as if they never left 💕

Cara made her comeback to the show circuit at the Nor’east of Scotland Cat Club Show in Carnoustie, last weekend — and what a return it was!

She won her second Grand Challenge against a truly stunning Abyssinian and went on to win all her side classes despite some seriously strong competition.

It wasn’t the easiest day for her either. She was a little upset with trains rumbling past outside and a spin class thumping away through the wall so she spent a fair bit of time tucked under her blanket. As the show got busier in the afternoon, she relaxed a little and enjoyed conversing with the public 😻

The kittens are on the move now so Mum has moved them out of the kittening box (excuse the walls, we thought we had decorated before getting the wardrobes fitted and on moving the room around, we obviously had not decorated behind them 🤣)
so that they have a bit more room - not sure how long the barricade will hold for though 🤔
