Laighlands Stud Registered Irish Draughts Our aim is to produce an Irish Draught Horse true to type, with movement, athletic ability and temperament for which they are famous.

Our show record at county level both north and south of the border and our consistent success at the national breed show, winning the yearling colt class four years out of five, confirms this. The Irish Draught Horse is renowned for its ability, endurance and temperament and is the main stay of the Irish Sports Horse and these qualities are at the forefront of our breeding programme. We always hav
