Sweet little Oscar’s first full groom with me! 🐾🛁🫧

Gorgeous Oscar can be a cheeky boy at times during grooming, so it had been a little while since he’d had a full groom. However, he was an absolute star for me! 🥰

We took a calm, Fear Free approach, working at Oscar’s pace and making sure he had plenty of cuddle and snack breaks throughout his groom. With a little patience, reassurance and lots of positive experiences, he was such a good boy and I can’t wait to see him back for his next groom! 🐶🫶🏻

Did you know that I hold a canine behaviour certificate? 🐶 🐾

This means that I have a good understanding of canine body language and behaviour, helping me support nervous, anxious or cheeky pups and make their grooming experience as positive and stress-free as possible! 🫧🛁

I’m also Fear Free trained, meaning I use gentle, patient and compassionate handling techniques to help your dog feel safe, relaxed and comfortable throughout their groom. Every dog is an individual, and I always take the time to build trust and work at their pace. 🐾

Whether your pup is a confident little character or needs a bit of extra reassurance, they’re in safe and caring hands at Paws & Thistle! 💜
