Hi all, as a suggestion from mat holden, I've created a group called Cornish aquarists feel free to jump over and post, offer trades on plants and corals. Questions and stuff like that. Look forward to hearing from you all

Hi everyone, thought I might try to open up a bit of a discussion today. 🤔🤔🤔 The topic will be: things I wish I knew sooner in the aquarium hobby. For example I wish I knew the wide range of benefits that aquarium salts have, that info would have saved me a lot of money over the years 😂😂😂

Hi all, a day late on this one but fish of the week is here! This week is the Corydora, perfect for so many types of tropical setups. They spend most of their time at the bottom of the tank cleaning up leftover food and scavenging for other tasty morsels. They're happiest in groups of five or more of the same type, this one is a bronze Corydora but there are so many different varieties in loads of colours and sizes. Really good for beginners just starting out in the hobby

Hi everyone, just a quick thank you to all of you. The page has just reached it's first 100 likes and follows! If anyone has any topics for discussion or problems that they have run into whilst keeping aquariums I would love to hear about them and if you found a solution.

Hello everyone, hope you're all well. Thought I'd drop a post telling a little about the business and what it's about. We're starting off small taking bookings to visit people and businesses that have or would like to have aquariums but find themselves struggling with the care or how to start off in this hobby for what ever reason. I have not put any pricing on the page because it would be fairly specific to the customer's needs. We're based in Penzance and hope to grow and have a local store in the near future for people to visit to buy fish, aquariums and accessories. Thanks for your support over the last few days, hope to hear from you good people soon.

Gotta love these little guys! Great little clean up crew, able to get into all sorts of gaps and get rid of leftover food and algae. Also really easy to breed and fairly cheap. Awesome for small aquariums and larger ones. Just be careful as some fish think they are a great snack

Hi, fish fans back after a long while away! Starting off with fish of the week! First entry is my personal favourite fish, the bristle nose plecostomus. Various algae eater, only grows to around 6 inches, is peaceful in most communities and loves veggies like cucumber and spinach. Just needs a good lump of bog wood to call home. If the bristles put you off, the females are much less prominent

This is the maturation cycle for establishing your fish tank. The first two chemicals are toxic to fish and can wipe out most of your fish, the third is less harmful and easily absorbed by plants and algae. It advised to add fish after the first water change.
