In the last fortnight alone :
£225 is the total cost of earnings I’ve lost through no-shows 😔
£105 is the amount in outstanding payments I am yet to receive through bank transfers from trusted customers 😔
13 is the number of clients that have turned up to their appointments late and made me run over times for the remainder of that day if I’ve been able to fulfill the groom at all 😔
Please know that I understand life happens and you may need to cancel or reschedule, but I can’t carry on allowing this when it has such a huge knock on effect to my business.
I work alone and my business is my only source of income - I’d appreciate if you would be mindful of this. 🙏
Moving forward I am considering not allowing no-shows to rebook without 100% of payment ahead of the appointment, and I can no longer allow late payments.
Please either transfer ahead of collection or bring cash.
I hate to write posts like this, but I don’t think anyone really understands the effect this has on small business owners like myself.
