When it comes to keeping your cat hydrated, fresh clean water is always the number one choice. It’s safe, healthy, and something your cat should always have available. But if you’re wondering about other drinks, the options are very limited.

Some safe alternatives include lactose-free milk made for cats or a bit of clear meat broth—as long as it’s plain, without salt, onions, or seasoning. These can be a tasty treat once in a while. In rare cases, a small sip of fresh coconut water can help with hydration, but it should never replace regular water.

On the other hand, drinks like regular cow’s milk, sweetened milk, juice, tea, coffee, or soda should never be given to cats. Most of these can cause stomach problems, and some are even toxic.

So, while a little variety can be fun, the best and safest drink for your furry friend will always be fresh, clean water. 🐾💧

Your Boxer is being destructive. Barking non-stop. Jumping all over everyone who walks through the door.

“Too much energy,” you think.

Maybe. Or maybe… they’re just tired.

Many people completely overlook sleep when looking at behaviour problems.

Not just lying around. Proper, deep, uninterrupted sleep.

Most Boxer owners have no idea how much sleep their dog actually needs. Or how poor sleep can completely change their dog's behaviour.

Puppies need 18-20 hours of sleep per day. Adults need 12-14 hours. Seniors can need up to 16 hours.

That tired, cranky toddler having a meltdown? Your overtired Boxer acts exactly the same way.

A well-rested Boxer learns faster. Stays calmer. Makes better choices. Focuses during training. Handles stress better.

A tired Boxer? They're reactive, impulsive, and everything becomes ten times harder.

Teaching your Boxer to switch off and be calm can be tricky. Finding that balance between enough activity and proper rest takes work. But it's essential for their wellbeing - and it's much easier if you start teaching this off-switch from puppyhood.

Look at your Boxer right now. When was the last time they had real sleep — not just lying on their bed while the house is busy, but proper, uninterrupted rest?

If you're dealing with behaviour problems, check the sleep first.

Sometimes the solution isn't more training or more exercise.

Sometimes… it’s just a good night’s sleep. 💤
