Are you unwittingly TORTURING your horse?

The first of these two so-called anatomical bridles lifts over the poll, leaving a narrow area of pressure at the back of the headpiece. The headpiece digs into the back of the ear and also leaves little room for the wing of the atlas.

The second so-called anatomical bridle puts pressure behind the ears and at the base of the ears.

Keswick Comfort Bridles by contrast have

1 a wide area over the poll to spread the pressure,
2 which narrows down to a thin strip to take all pressure away from the ears and the wing of the atlas
3 a split-leather browband which is as light as a feather and fits loosely putting no pressure or weight over the poll, brow or ears
4 no seams, buckles or joins near the sensitive TMJ reducing tension and improving communication.
5 buckles low down against the masseter muscles
