FYI

I no longer tolerating rude entitled attitude towards myself or anyone working in the dog parks.

I bend over backwards but attitude if you don’t read emails or if I run out of poo bags or anything else is not on. I get dogs abuse at times for people not reading a text or email and I’m fed up with this 24/7.

Check your booking. Emails. In doubt check the day or moment you book. Bring spare water and poo bags and it’s not my fault if grass is wet or it’s not long enough session you’ve booked or you’ve got lost and google maps is my fault.

Please stop. And for those normal folk using here, thank you for bring you ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾

I’m looking for a local agricultural fencing contractor for some work needing done for the never ending list of things to fix/to be done 🙄🤦‍♀️😂

Please note, there is a zero tolerance policy for anyone abusing the park rules, showing up early and entering the car park or/and then subsequently entering a park whilst not your booking time, especially whilst both parks are booked out per client booking. (We offer both parks per booking (outwith specific times))

We will and do ban anyone breaking the rules, they are in place to keep dogs and clients safe, everything stress free and happy.

There is a large lay-by parking area opposite the former wellington school if you happen to accidentally arrive early, then there is also an area before the bridge and then finally if all else fails and you remember at the last minute that you’re early there is a passing place on the railwayline you can stop at.

My own dogs use the parks on and off during the day so please also do not assume you can arrive early if there’s a gap before your booking. We may be in during this time and they will have a meltdown if someone appears that shouldn’t be there.

If rules are followed then everyone is happy and the dogs have a wonderful time so please, as another reminder, abide by the rules. Don’t arrive early and don’t leave late.

FYI just in case you are not aware. If you give yourself extra time to travel here and arrive early please wait before the bridge or worse case scenario at the passing place before the car park.

REMEMBER PLEASE DON’T ARRIVE EARLY IN TO THE CAR PARK, 3 mins max. entry time. People are still coming in 5/10/15 minutes early. We have reactive etc dogs using the parks so PLLLEEEEEAAASSSSEEEEE I beg you just remember to not arrive early.

May or may not affect you 🤔 or you probably already know if you live in Penicuik but just in case you don’t - a heads up for later today - late afternoon and evening

Also the road is open from A701 side of Milkhall/Venture Fair Road the road closed signs still up are for further towards the wildlife reserve and close just past our entrance (away to google why I call it Milkhall Rd but Council has it Venture Fair, I have forgotten why🤔🙄😂 milking parlour at the former Snooty Fox / Howgate restaurant or similar 🤔🤔😬😂)

Pram race in Penicuik this evening, please check your route to us to ensure it’s not closed or altered and allow extra time to travel.

Arrive early and you can wait either on the large passing place/parking place on Milkhall Road opposite the former wellington school site, or at entrance gate (allow space for cars to drive in and out)

Or before the bridge or if you forget all this as lots to remember, there’s a passing place/oh 💩I’m early space to wait 😱😂)
