Professional product launch? Absolutely not. 😂

The new ombré collars & leads arrived and apparently I had ZERO interest in waiting until I was in the shop, presentable, or in possession of an actual tripod.

So here we are. At home. Looking questionable. Camera propped up on the delivery box… which is itself propped up against a suspiciously expensive bottle of tequila. 🌈🐾

But LOOK AT THEM 😭

Honestly, I’m obsessed. The colours are even better in real life and I needed you to see them immediately.

Simon the Snuffle Sheep is FINALLY back in stock… and apparently needed to be welcomed back in the traditional way: immediate violence. 😂🐑

No gentle reunion. No time to settle in. Just straight into a very enthusiastic game of GO TIME.

If your dog needs to calm the F down and likes to grab, shake and parade around like they’ve personally hunted dinner, Simon is ready for them. 👀

Back in the shop now and online although judging by how much Pickle and Pudding love them they might not be around for long. 😂🐾

Turns out taking two dogs camping requires slightly more preparation than just chucking them in the car and hoping for the best. Who knew? 😂🏕️🐾

We survived, the creatures had a lovely time and the spare human was moderately useful… but there were definitely a few moments where I thought, “Oh. That would’ve been REALLY handy.”

The particularly embarrassing part? I literally own a dog shop. Most of the things I wish I’d taken were sitting here waiting for me while I was off in a field being wildly underprepared. 🤦‍♀️

So here are the things I DIDN’T take camping with the dogs, because apparently access to an entire shop full of dog stuff is no match for my chaotic packing skills.

Imagine contributing absolutely nothing financially to the household and still having Wilson’s venison & trout, two pâtés and bone broth ordered ready for collection. Not even picking it up themselves. Honestly, being a dog looks increasingly appealing. 😂🐾

The dogs have packed their bags, the spare human has been loaded into the car… and we’re off camping 🏕️🐾😂

A little escape for fresh air, questionable sleeping arrangements and absolutely no personal space because, obviously, the dogs will take up 90% of everything.

Quick shop update: unfortunately the shop will be closed today due to staff sickness 🤒 We’re really sorry for any inconvenience, but we’ll be back at the shop on Wednesday as usual!

In the meantime, we’ll be somewhere in a field trying to convince the dogs that camping is supposed to be relaxing. Wish the spare human luck. 😂🐶⛺️

Things you WON’T find in my dog shop 👀🐾

Just because something is popular doesn’t mean I’m putting it on my shelves. Rawhide? Nope. Dentastix? Not happening. An ingredients list longer than my weekly to-do list? Also no. 😂

And then there’s goat… which is less about nutrition and more about the fact that I bloody love goats and apparently can’t separate my emotions from my stock buying decisions. 🐐😂

Although I’ll admit… I’m wavering on that one 👀

Running an independent dog shop means I get to choose what I’m happy to sell and if I wouldn’t be comfortable giving it to my own dogs, you’re unlikely to find it at FID.

Come pack an order with me… as I babble incoherently throughout in my usual polished style 🤗……polished might be pushing the bounds of reality somewhat.

A little bit of organisation, a lot of chaos, several moments of wondering what I was doing… but we got there in the end.

Behind every beautifully packed FID order is me, getting fully distracted by what you’ve bought.

At least the dogs don’t care how chaotic it was — as long as the snacks arrive.

I think there’s something fully wrong with me. After biting an eco-toy once, I can’t stop thinking about doing it again 😬

I’ve got blinking loads of these fabulous, hard wearing, Green & Wilds Eco Toys in stock, no, I haven’t put them on the website yet 🤣 so if you want one you’re gonna have to either come in or send me a message because, apparently, that’s how I roll right now 😁
