When it comes to the time that we have to let our best friends go over to rainbow bridge it’s one of the hardest things we as pet mums & dads have to do, we love them like our own children, we worship the ground they walk on, they are the ones who are there every day to help us through every path we walk on in life, there not not a pet there family, so when it comes to the time we have to say goodbye and your looking for a cremation please look no further than this lovely lady, she will gently take care of our love ones and give them the best that they deserve xx❤️xx

So today we took one of our clients dogs little Gracie to west wales poundies dog show, plus we took an other friends dog Molly, Gracie came 3rd and Molly came 4th we’ve had a lovely day and met some lovely people, will definitely be going again next year ###

OMG! It's been 2 years since we launched the cafe!

That day of opening was crazy!! From film crews, radio stations and a lot more people than expected 😊

2 years on and we are so forever grateful for you guys supporting us, being able to provide an inclusive place to visit with no admission fees.

This year we will launch our community garden, teenagers mental health area and no doubt lots of other wonderful projects to support our local community.

It's been 5 years of hard work but we are so proud of what we've finally achieved and being recognised by people wanting to use our service.

It's never been about money, it's always been about providing a home to those animals that might be a little bit Wonky and those animals engaging with our wonderful community.

Having Ioan our son with Cerebral Palsy it was the dream from the start to have a place for disabed people to go without the crowds and strange looks and we really feel that this is what we are now achieving.

We questioned if we would ever get there but we made it and this is only the beginning.

I’ve got to say Mac and doug really do take my heart, these old boys came to live at the wonky a good couple of weeks ago, they are best friends and inseparable, Mac is the gentlest old boy I’ve ever come across, sweet natured but was very quiet on arrival, Doug was a very withdrawn donkey but would and still does stick to his big friend like glue, even share there breakfast and supper together, even if Mac does cover Doug in it 😂 but he cleans up his brother head ears and face afterwards 😂😂 two very sweet ole boys ###

So yesterday we left one of our most happy places, The Wonky Donkey Cafe, Community Farm and Sanctuary each animal has a story to tell if only they could speak to tell us exactly what there lives entailed before becoming so loved and adored at the wonky donk, looking into the eyes of each animal really makes you think different on life, they didn’t ask to be born to be neglected all they want is to be loved and cared for, our time at the wonky has been incredible, calming and soothing looking after all the animals for Emma & James while they gave u there wellies and boots for flippers and snorkels on there much deserved holiday to the Maldives, not only did we take care and love each animal we also done some work on the farm cutting grass cutting back all the hedges and brambles ready for them to open the farm and cafe on bank holiday Monday, so please if you are stuck for ideas on the half term to where to take the kiddies for an hour or two please drop over to the farm and have yourself a nice hot/cold drink ☕️ and a freshly made sandwich 🥪 and see all the animals as all proceeds made in the cafe go towards the upkeep of the beloved rescue animals…till we see u again buddy’s all be good, see u soon…the j & s equine team ###

Work doesn’t stop when all the animals are done, fed cleaned watered and hayed up, it was time to revamp some wire reels, ready to go into a woodland retreat…can’t wait to see these places in there spot once completely finished ###

So last week we was back for a long weekend with Shakiras best mate MR BRYN and our little ole girl MISS BAILEY, Shakira deeply feel inlove with bryn from day one of going for a meet & greet!! Till next time my beautiful babies, be good!! Xx💙❤️🐶🐶❤️💙xX
