The Telscombe Cattery

Well established and licensed Cattery located in Telscombe Cliffs, East Sussex. The pens are situated in a garden setting backing onto open fields.

Welcome to our cattery in Telscombe Cliffs

We have 10 walk-in style PVCu pens and are licensed by Lewes District Council. Each pen benefits from a sleeping area with large viewing shelf, double glazed windows, and a cat flap to a secure run area with chair and scratching log. The pens are warm in winter, each having a thermostatically controlled heater panel, and cool in summer due to the heat re

flective roof, tiled floor and through ventilation. As the cattery is near to our house it is under constant supervision. Time is spent each day with all boarders to ensure that your cat is happy and comfortable. Beds and bedding are provided, however we would encourage you to bring your own bedding and favourite toys to help your cat(s) settle in.

Incredibly busy at the moment. Heads up for the summer: June is already almost fully booked, July is busy, as is September. We hate telling you that we can't accommodate your intended bookings, so please let as know as soon as you can. A belated Happy New Year to you all. 🥂🍾

We had a really busy festive season with a full house for the two weeks and since then Amy and Merv have given the cattery a very early spring clean (even the stereo system is sparkling)

We are now ready for a busy 2024.

As most of you are aware we have made a few changes to our terms and conditions so that Merv can have a little more free time.

Opening hours for drop off and collection are now 11am-12 noon and 17:30 - 18:30 Monday to Saturday, and we have a minimum stay of 7 days.

Please do give us a call as soon as you have dates for holidays/ building works planned etc. 01273 582997.

Just to let you know that we will be changing our minimum stay from 4 days to 7 days from 20th October 2023. (bookings already made will, of course, be honoured)

Having run the cattery for 17 years, and with Merv turning 70 in August, we really need to begin to allow him a bit of “managed retirement”. He's done you proud, and we're not looking to close any time soon, but we just need to make it work for us as a small, family run business.

We continue to run a five star service, we continue to love meeting you and your adorable cats... we're just slowing down a bit, so that Merv can catch up with his mates, some of whom (his age) have been retired for 11 years !

I do hope you understand.

We are currently incredibly busy with only limited availability over the summer so please call / email us as soon as you have dates for your cats holiday with us and we will do our best to accommodate. We are not yet, however, taking bookings for Christmas. We'll let you know, when we are ...😽😽😺
