Happy new year everyone.

I just want to thank you all for the amazing support over the last 5 years, this year things are going to be a little bit different and my business will be scaling back a lot as financially last year wasnt a great year and its very much affected family life too.

I will still be doing microchipping and some nail trims but my work hours will be changing massively due to school, being a single mum and having a new job.

Thank you for your understanding.

Once I have my rescues charity shop sorted I will be able to take walk in nail and microchip appointments on the days I am working there. But that wont be for a short while as I have some sorting out to do first.

It has been a very busy 5 days here ! Lots and lots of special kitties getting looked after, and even more special kitties to add to the rounds tomorrow for the next week.

Please be advised that this is the last year I am cat sitting over the festive period, this is my 5th year working Christmas and new year so am having a well earned Christmas off next year plus I am retiring some services. Thank you all for the wonderful support you have shown.

Please bare in mind all new appointments will be for the new year now. I am super busy with cat sitting all Xmas and new year and that is of course quite enough on top of being a single mum.

As per my auto reply I can only reply messages in my stated work time.

After 5 years of working Christmas please note this is my last christmas working.

Today was our last walk with the beautiful Lola, we will absolutely miss you and your wonderful family, but as life takes a new turn for us a little in 2026 I am thankful for the lovely years of walks we have had as well as the support going forward.

Due to being on holiday this week but unfortunately having no actual time off and having to deal with things every day , I am extremely stressed so therefore I will be extending my time off and next week I will NOT be available Thursday 18th , Fri 19th, sat and Sunday 20th and 21st.

Please be reminded that time off for me is very rare and normally I am working 7 days a week, as well as running a cat rescue and being a single mum.

I work all of Christmas too, including Xmas eve, Xmas day and boxing day, twice a day. I dont get to enjoy family time or having a drink because I love looking after your kitties while on your holiday, however this is the last year I will be doing this.

So next Thursday to Sunday, my phone will be OFF because if I dont get a break, I will break.

This is the reality of those of us who are self employed with no support.
