Today we had a Mantrailing meet up.

It rained and it rained and it rained a bit more.
We didn't really care, because our dogs were committed to their Mantrailing.
A soggy but successful mornings work.
Well done to all teams, working every run with good humour and sparkle. 😍🤩

UK Sniffer Dogs - "Scent Detection for Pet Dogs"
It's not all about big or fast dogs.
This is Emi, a sweet clever little soul.
Emi can find the world rather daunting, but she certainly knows how to search for a specific scent source. There is one drop of gun oil on a tiny wooden peg on the elephants collar. That is her target scent.
When I first put the teddies out, Emi was rather keen to seek refuge under her handlers chair.
But once she realised it was an opportunity to work and earn her rewards, she was ready to face her fear.
That's true strength, courage and learning.
