Moved Rolo to his new yard today and he was an absolute star! ⭐️

Travelled perfectly — you honestly wouldn’t have known he was in the horse box at all, so calm and settled the whole way 💙

Hope you settle in and love your new home! Enjoy your new yard 🐴

🚛 Engine Rebuild In Progress! 🚛

We’ve got our horse box in the workshop getting some much-needed TLC! A few months back, we noticed it was pumping out lots of smoke from the exhaust — and after a proper look, we found the head gasket had failed. 🛠️

So right now we’re fully rebuilding the engine, fitting a brand-new turbo plus plenty of other fresh parts to get it running better than ever! 💪

Hoping to have it back on the road and ready to roll in just a couple of weeks — can’t wait! 🐴✨

Watch this space… 👀

😟 A bit of a scare this morning…

We had a worrying start to the day when our pacer went down in the field shortly after being turned out — he was hot, sweaty and showing clear signs of colic. 🐴

We called the vet straight away, and thankfully we’ve caught it early. He’s now in the stable under close watch, and already seems much brighter in himself. 🙏 Huge relief to have such a good vet on our side, acting quickly and supporting us.

Fingers crossed he continues to improve and makes a full, speedy recovery. Thank you for all the love and support — we’ll keep you updated! 💙

✨ What an amazing first experience! ✨

Our 14-year-old son decided to give in-hand showing a go — and for his and the horse’s very first ever event, they did themselves so proud! 🐴💙

They kicked off in the first class, coming 6th — only marked down slightly for using a leather harness instead of a show halter or bridle! 🥈 Learning as we go! Then they stepped up to take 2nd place in the Cob Class — which earned them a place in the Championship! 🎉

All in all, we left with:
✅ Two 2nd places
✅ Two 3rd places
✅ One 6th place
✅ Plus competed in both Championships!

Such a brilliant lesson for both handler and horse — we’re so proud of how they went! 🥰

We’ll be back at it again this coming weekend — let’s see how we get on! 🤞 We know we’re late to the party this year, but watch this space — we’ll be going full steam ahead for a full showing season next year! 🐎✨
