🪨 Troglodillo sp. ‘Vex’ 🪨

A true cave-dwelling isopod with a heavily armoured, almost fossil-like appearance.
Slow moving and naturally secretive, Troglodillo sp. ‘Vex’ is perfectly adapted to life in dark, humid environments, where stability matters more than speed.

Given time to settle, they reward patient keepers with fascinating behaviour and an unmistakably ancient presence. Best kept in well-established bioactive setups with plenty of leaf litter, cork, and rocky hides.

For those who enjoy observing nature as it is — quietly and responsibly.

Any orders placed after 8am on Wednesday 17th will be posted w/c January 6th.

The shop will be open as normal right up until Christmas Eve, so you’re more than welcome to pop in and collect in person.

Porcellio werneri ‘Albino’ 🤍✨
Meet the ghostly version of one of the coolest (and flattest) of all the Porcellio species!
This morph has little to no pigment, giving it that clean white look, almost like glass on the fringes.

P.werneri is one of my all time favourite isopods and I can’t get enough of this white paint job!

Who Are We?

Welocme to Micro Exotics, we are a small family run business based in sunny Cornwall, UK. We aim to provide everything for the needs of amateur to advanced terrarium hobbyists . We breed our own livestock and aim to propagate most of our own plants within a few years.

we have many years experience in the exotics pet trade and hope to use our knowledge and experience to help grow the terrarium hobby within the UK.

We are only small at the moment but aim to roll out new products monthly as well as attending many craft fairs and specialist exotic pet shows throughout the year. If you need any assistance please feel free to contact us.
