Armadillidae sp. “Qilin” are one of the most striking isopods in the hobby, with heavily textured armour and an almost mythical appearance.

Motherhood… but make it 100 legs 🖤🔥

Our female Vietnamese Centipede, Scolopendra dehaani, guarding her freshly hatched pedelings like the fierce queen she is 👑🐛

Unlike most inverts, centipedes are incredibly protective mothers — curling around their babies, cleaning them, defending them, and refusing to leave the brood until the youngsters are ready to venture out alone.

Tiny legs everywhere… and one VERY protective mum 😅

Blink and you’ll miss it… actually, don’t blink — you still won’t see it.

This species is all about that low-key, underground lifestyle:
humid setups, deep retreats, and a strict “no paparazzi” policy 📸❌

But when it does make an appearance?
Yeah… worth the wait.

Not flashy. Not showy. Just pure, mysterious vibes.

What an awesome day trading cornwall show yesterday. Massive thank you to everyone that came and checked out the show, so nice to have one local for a change!

Lots to sort back out this morning, animals to feed, stock to put away and lots of orders to get out! Ready to do it again this weekend end capital show on London this weekend!
