We are a small animal sanctuary based in Paignton, Devon, and we urgently need support to keep us going.

Since 2022, we have provided a safe haven for hundreds of animals rescued from abuse, neglect, and slaughter, as well as those surrendered by owners who could no longer care for them. Currently, we are home to 23 sheep, 6 pigs, 8 cats, 4 rabbits, a chicken and a cockerel, while also working to find loving homes for numerous other animals in need who’s rescue efforts we also help fund.

Until now, we’ve relied on a few kind donations and our own personal funds, but as more and more animals have come into our care, and our day-to-day costs have started to rise, we are now at a critical point where our accounts are running dry and 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 to secure the future of the sanctuary.

Beyond rescuing animals, our sanctuary also plays a vital role in our local community. We offer young people the chance to gain experience through Duke of Edinburgh placements and voluntary work, while also educating the public about the importance of caring for animals and helping to change the publics perception of farm animals, who are still so misunderstood and neglected.

Good morning everyone

Young volunteer afternoon is cancelled for today due to the fact we are integrating the sheep and lambs and need it to be as calm and quiet as possible for them to give them time to integrate without other distractions.
We will be back to normal again next week and keep you all updated with how things go today 🤍

I can’t believe it’s been a week since this crazy lady came down from Wales to volunteer again 😄 Jas always brings lots of laughter and love to the sanctuary and we always miss her when she goes again 💚

A very good friend of mine and acquaintance in animal rescue is trying to find homes for a large number of cats all found at one property in poor living conditions.
Please send us an inbox if you have space in your home and heart to take one or two. Home checks will be done to make sure all go to good homes and people.
