We had the company of my youngest niece 😊 again today 🌤 and it was little Biscuit’s 💖 turn for a beach 🏖 outing with her friends 🐶 to lovely Teignmouth 🌊🦀🐚🎣⛵️As soon as we got on the sand Biscuit 💖 and Nala 💖 charged in the sea 🌊 and had great fun splashing 💦 about trying to fetch pebbles and sticks i was throwing with both being very vocal about it 🙄 and the others had a good sniff. Bobby 💙 enjoyed going off lead a couple of times but occasionally forgot he was with us 😆 so I clipped him back on. Then Nala did a spot of digging 🐾 under the watchful eyes 👀 of Biscuit 💖 On the way back Toby 💙 ventured in for a brief paddle and the girls had another play. Bobby 💙 stopped in his tracks 🐾 as spotted 👀 another Schnauzer friend 🥰 and made a bee line straight over to say hello 👋 and the others being nosy followed. She was a lovely little female rescue that had been ill treated 😔 and quite wary of people, so did very well at meeting all my pups 🐶 and us. . . Back at the car 🚐 they all enjoyed refreshments💧and a treat. Then I popped in to see my brother and nephews, had a chat and cuppa ☕️ while the pups 🐶 played in his garden🪴🌸 (hence why the pics 📷 are so late 🙄 today, apologies)
A lovely walkies 🐾 and it made a change to go somewhere different. 😊

I’ve not been here for a while so before our next arrival i thought I’d give the pups a nice trip 🐾 to the beach 🏖 We went across Roundham Head gardens 🌳🦅🌸🐝🌿🐿 first and along the winding paths to Goodrington beach 🌊🦀🐚🎣🏄🏾‍♂️⛵️Bobby 💙 stayed on lead today as he has a tendency of tagging along with other people🚶‍♀️in busier places and going deaf 🙄 I’m sure it’s a Schnauzer thing 😆 . . . I
remembered i had a ball 🎾 in my rucksack 🎒so Nala 💖 was very excited when she saw 👀 it and had great fun charging in and out of the sea 🌊 fetching it with Bobby 💙 trying his utmost to go in for the steal but not quite brave enough when it came to going in the water💧he let Nala 💖 do all leg work 😆 He did have a stroll over the rock 🪨 and surprised me by taking the plunge in a rock pool but I don’t think he realised what he’d done as he didn’t look too pleased afterwards 😆 They had a run 🐾 across the green ☘️🌼 at the top and just as we were heading back Buster 💙 was up in the bushes 🌿 transfixed 👀 probably a mouse 🐁 or rat 🐀 hole 🕳 obviously something of great interest to him as he didn’t want to leave, I had to climb in and get him out. 😆

After we got back from our walkies 🐾 this afternoon 🌥 we had beautiful girl Biscuit 💖 the Cavapoo 🐶 return for her 12 night holiday. And what a lovely welcome 🥰 she had from all her new and old friends. She’s took quite a shine to Bobby 💙 and then her and Nala 💖 have been enjoying a game of fetch the ball in the garden. 🌳🐦🌼🌿🐿

Mr Bumble 💙 had his successful trial 😊 and went home 🏠 and Bobby 💙 Nala 💖 and my boys 💙 were so good patiently waiting in until the rain 🌧 stopped and then we went out for an afternoon walkies 🐾 down at Clennon Valley 🌳🦅🌸🐝🐿 and around the beautiful lakes💧They enjoyed a good sniff and all really alert listening to the various birdsong 🦆🐦 🦢 Nala 💖 wasn’t quite sure what to make of it and all were very good not attempting to bother them at all, just looking 👀 It’s so sad 😔 that the swans 🦢 only have one cygnet left after crows and a dog attacked their others a while ago. Toby 💖 and Nala 💖 had a little paddle 💦 in the stream at the end. Then on the way back the fun commenced in the field ☘️🌼⚽️🥅 with Nala 💖 instigating a great game of chase 🐾 with her bestie Bobby 💙 they had a wail of a time 😁 charging after each other. Nala 💖 is so quick and was even doing somersaults 😆 over him at one point, he couldn’t for the life of him keep up with her.

Blue 💖 enjoyed her last walkies 🐾 with her friends 🐶 this afternoon 🌫 at Primley Park 🌳🦅🍄🌿🐿🦡 Bobby 💙 Nala 💖 got a case of the zoomies 😆 as soon as we got there and despite Mr Bumble 💙 being on lead had fun joining in as well. They all enjoyed exploring and sniffing about in the woods🌲 and we went down to the bottom fields 🌱🌼🐇 as well. We continued the circular back up through and they had another fun run 🐾 and a game of fetch the stickie in the field ☘️🛝 before heading back. . . Oh and Buster’s 💙 final post op check went well. 😊

We had 3 gorgeous arrivals this morning 🌫 First was handsome boy Bobby 💙 the Schnauzer who came with beautiful girl Nala 💖 the Cockapoo both returning for their 8 night holiday. Then we had lovely little fella Mr Bumble 💙 the Westie arrive for his trial day/night. Mr Bumble 💙 was a bit nervous at first but Bobby 💙 and Nala 💖 have reassured him that all is well and they were soon all charging 🐾 about playing with each other in the garden 🌳🐦🌼🌿🐿 which was so lovely 🥰 seeing them all settle in so well.

Over the lovely new bridge and Blue 💖 and my Toby 💙 enjoyed a Sunday morning 🌥 dip 💦 down at the river Dart💧🦆🌿🌸🎣 🦢🦭🛶 in Totnes. Then we had a stroll🚶‍♀️around Borough Park 🌳🐿🛝☘️🚴🏽‍♂️⚽️🥅 and Buster 💙 did his rolling act again 😆 The medical suit must be so itchy for him (he hates wearing a coat in the winter as well 🙄) so he’ll be so pleased to get it off when we get home 🏠 as I’ll be showering 🚿 him and washing the suit ready to return to Seymour Vets tomorrow morning when he has his final post op check and I must say a big thank to them for loaning it to him. . . On the way back to the river we bumped into lovely girl Winnie 💖(or Miss Winifred as her owners sometimes call her which is so sweet 🥰) the Cockapoo who comes to stay and she’d also had a morning dip. I look forward 😊 to her coming back to stay in October. Then we came across the field 🌱🌼 back to the car. 🚐

Very windy💨 and high tide this afternoon but that didn’t stop the pups 🐶🦮 enjoying their beach 🌊🦀🐚🏄🏾‍♂️🚢⚓️ outing down at Saltern cove. Kobi 💙 loved charging and splashing 💦 about in the waves 🌊 while Eric 💙 did a spot of digging 🐾 trying to either bury or retrieve a pebble. We obviously couldn’t get around the rocks 🪨 so we went back up the steps and down to Waterside cove for another play. I found a stick for them to play fetch with, they weren’t interested in that, then i spotted that someone had left a frisbee so got that instead. Eric 💙 was very pleased with himself when he got it after Kobe 💙 plunged in to get it for him but after throwing it out a couple of times Kobe 💙 had enough and left it out there sinking 🙄 so Eric 💙 resorted back to another dig 🐾 Buster 💙 was happily sitting there watching them play. And the waves 🌊 were a bit to choppy for Toby 💙 to venture in for a paddle today. . . Then we headed back 🏡 to wait for Blue, 💖 our next arrival.

After our walkies 🐾 we had our 2nd arrival beautiful girl Blue 💖 the Cocker Spaniel. She’s here for a couple of nights and as always settles in really well 🥰 A quick sniff around the garden 🌳🐦🌼🌿🐿 then back to bed 🛌 for another rest 💤(at the moment 😴 i feel like I’d like to join them😆)

After his successful trial in June, this morning 🌫 we welcomed back handsome boy Kobe 💙 the Labrador 🦮 for a nice walkies and sleepover 🛌 💤 He’ll be staying for a few short breaks in preparation for his longer holiday in May next year. He’s settling in so well again 😊 and found himself a couple of balls 🎾 to play with as soon as he arrived being very clever by carrying two at once.😁
