Happy Bank Holiday weekend from everyone at Bruce’s ☀️🐾

With warmer weather around, our teams take extra steps throughout the day to help keep dogs cool, comfortable and happy — from shaded rest areas and extra hydration stations to sprinklers, paddling pools and frozen enrichment treats.

We’re looking forward to welcoming all our dogs back tomorrow for another fun-filled and safe week at day care in the sunshine.

From fresh herbs and sensory planting to bark, tunnels and natural textures, we’re always looking for ways to make our environments more enriching and engaging for the dogs in our care.

As dog lovers, our connection to nature runs deep 🐕🌿

That’s why, this Earth Day 2026, we’re continuing to reduce our carbon pawprint and give back to the land we get to play on every day 🐾

Here’s how we’re doing our bit:

♻️ Reusing materials to create toys and enrichment games

⚡ Running a fleet of electric doggy buses

🌱 Adding living roofs to our centres and cabins to support biodiversity

🏗️ Reducing waste by adapting existing structures into usable spaces

🌳 Planting trees to positively contribute to the land we occupy

🪵 Using sustainable, natural materials as play equipment

🌼 Keeping things wild - no nasty pesticides or harmful chemicals

We’ve all been enjoying the return of the warmer weather this week — but for us, it also means taking extra care.

Before dogs travel home, our teams prepare each vehicle so it’s cool, ventilated and comfortable for the journey.

Our doggy buses are fitted with rear climate control and designed so dogs can travel safely and comfortably.

We also plan routes carefully to help keep travel time as short as possible.

If you ever have questions about how your dog travels with us, just ask — we’re always happy to explain.
