Over the past 12 weeks, we’ve been delighted to welcome Carol, a veterinary student from Brazil, to Coach House Vets as part of her placement.

Many of you have seen Carol around the practice during her time with us. She has been a wonderful addition to the team, and we are incredibly grateful for all her hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication.

This week is Carols final week with us as she moves on to continue her veterinary career. We would like to thank her for everything she has contributed and wish her every success for the future! 🫶❤️🐾

Please keep in touch Carol! We will miss you!

Important Pet Travel Update!🐾🚢🚙☀️

From the 22nd April 2026, EU pet passports held by GB residents will no longer be valid for travel from Great Britain to the EU.

Even if the passport was issued in an EU country, it will not be valid. Due to this change of regulation, an Animal Health Certificate will be mandatory to travel with your pet.

The Animal Health Certificate must be issued within 10 days of entering the EU. Your pet must be microchipped and have a valid Rabies vaccine which must be given at least 21 days before entering the EU.

For GB residents travelling to Northern Ireland you will need a Pet Travel Document (PTD). For further information please visit

🚨 Cuteness Alert! 🚨

Just look at these gorgeous brother and sister Staffy × Chow puppies! 🐶🐶 They were absolute stars during their visit to the clinic for their microchips — so brave and incredibly cuddly.

One of these little ones will be heading off to their new home very soon, and we wish them and their new family the very best of adventures together! 💛

🐾 Did you know?
By law, all puppies must be microchipped by 8 weeks of age, which is usually arranged by the breeder.

📌 Don’t forget — if your contact details change, it’s really important to update your dog’s microchip information so they can always be reunited with you if they ever get lost.
