Calling all community growers!

We're very excited to share that we will be delivering another Gardeniser Pro course this summer in partnership with Arbor Projects London.

Covering everything to do with running a community garden (apart from the gardening!), the Gardeniser Pro is a wonderful way to expand your knowledge on running community garden projects as well as growing your own network.

We've got lots of seedlings for sale!

If you're looking to grow your own food at home (or at your allotment!) we've got some great veggie plants here - kale, cucumber, tomatoes, celery, herbs and cabbage seedlings all available for sale this Saturday from 10am-1pm alongside our regular Saturday produce stall.

And if you're keen to try growing at home but don't have the confidence, we've got a few growing workshops coming up:

🌱 Grow Your Own: Crop protection, salad and brassica, this Saturday afternoon (June 6th) 2-4.30pm
🌱 A Taste of Permaculture Design - family friendly, Saturday July 11th, 2-4pm
🌱 Grow Your Own: Winter Growing, Saturday August 1st, 2-4.30pm

Our Food & Farming group recently enjoyed a Mexican themed lunch of burritos and guacamole in the sun before it vanished!

It was well deserved though as they'd been very busy that day making fresh chutney (no cooking involved) and cauliflower piccalilli, both making an appearance at our Saturday market soon.

Our Wellies and Bellies group for adults with long-term health conditions came to an end in March with a lovely celebratory meal to honour the fun, connection and positive change that it's helped to foster in people's lives.

Now we're delighted that some group members (and families too!) are enjoying coming on Fridays. The goats are certainly feeling the love: banana skins brought in specially for them!! Thanks again to this wonderful group of people for their resilience, humour, kindness and practical skills. You are, and remain, an important part of the Farm community 🫶🏼
