🐴💩 MANOR EQUESTRIAN IS HIRING! 💩🐴

Apparently our staff have decided that university, school and getting an education are important. Rude. 😂

So… we need some new victims — sorry, team members. 🤣

We’re looking for:

🐴 Sunday yard staff — extra days may also be available
💩 Poo pickers — a glamorous career opportunity
🧹 General yard help — basically people who see chaos and think, “Yep, I can work with this.”

Horse experience is preferred for yard duties, but most importantly you need to be reliable, hardworking, happy to get filthy and not emotionally affected by wheelbarrows full of poo.

🐴❤️ WELL… WE HAVE SOME SAD NEWS AND SOME EXCITING NEWS… ❤️🐴

One of our amazing livery is leaving Manor, and we are genuinely so sad to see them go. 😭❤️

When someone has been with us for a while, they’re never just a livery. They become part of the Manor family — part of the laughs, the chaos, the competitions, the questionable decisions and the conversations that should NEVER leave the yard. 😂

We’re absolutely gutted, but sometimes life changes and new chapters begin. They’ll always be part of our Manor family. ❤️

NOW… before we all start crying into a wheelbarrow…

🚨 A STABLE HAS BECOME AVAILABLE AT MANOR EQUESTRIAN. 🚨

So we’re looking for ONE experienced, friendly, sensible and appropriately unhinged horse owner to join us.

And by sensible, we mean horse-person sensible.

Normal people save money.

Horse people say “£180 FOR A RUG?!” and then buy it because “burgundy really is his colour.” 🤦‍♀️🤣

Do they walk beautifully towards the ramp, get approximately three feet away and suddenly stare at it like it’s a portal to another dimension? 😂

Or perhaps your horse loads fine, but YOU would actually like to learn how to do it properly, confidently and SAFELY rather than standing at the bottom of the ramp for 45 minutes with a bucket of treats, begging, bribing and questioning every decision that led you to horse ownership. 🤦‍♀️🤣

👉 THEN THIS DEMO IS FOR YOU!

We’re ridiculously excited to welcome the brilliant Alec Miles for a relaxed, fun and seriously useful Horse Loading Demo. 🐴🚛

Alec will show us how to approach loading correctly and safely, how to deal with problems, and how to make travelling less stressful for both horse and human.

🐴 AND NO — YOU DON’T NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN HORSE!

We’ll provide the demonstration horses, so your own little loading drama queen can stay peacefully at home, completely unaware that you’re coming to learn all their tricks. 😂

Just bring yourself, your questions and your willingness to discover that waving a carrot while shouting “JUST GET ON THE BLOODY BOX!” is apparently not an approved loading technique. 🤣🤣

We are SO excited to announce that entries are officially open for our Flutterby Fund Show Jumping Competition at Manor Equestrian!

This is NOT going to be one of those terrifying competitions where everyone looks professional, nobody speaks and you suddenly forget how to ride a horse. 😂

This is going to be chilled, friendly, supportive and FUN — exactly how we like things at Manor!

🐴 SELLING ON BEHALF OF OUR FRIEND 🐴

🐴 IZZY – 14.1hh | 19yo | Connemara Mare | Experienced All-Rounder 🐴

💔 Heartbreaking sale – absolutely no time wasters, tyre kickers or people asking if she’d suit their child who started riding three Tuesdays ago. 😂

If you’re looking for a fun, kind, experienced older pony who has been there, done it, probably got the Pony Club T-shirt and still has plenty to offer, Izzy could be the one.

Izzy is a 19-year-old, 14.1hh Connemara mare with a brilliant and varied history.

With her previous owners, she gave two young 12-year-old riders some fantastic experiences, including competing at the Pony Club Championships at Hickstead, qualifying for Bicton, winning dressage series, attending clinics, arena eventing and competing at the Lucinda Green XC Academy at Tweseldown, where she finished 2nd.

Basically, Izzy has a better CV than most of us. 😂

Since coming to her current owner, she’s enjoyed a quieter life of hacking, agility and liberty work.

She has previously competed in showjumping and is happiest around 70–80cm. Please don’t ask for jumping videos because she was bought specifically to hack around the New Forest and enjoy quieter activities, not to recreate Hickstead in her spare time. 😂 Her previous owner is very happy to speak to serious enquirers about her jumping history, and there is a full history available from her last two homes.

Izzy is forward-going but sensible to hack. She appreciates a little reassurance around tractors, so she is NOT suitable for a novice rider. She loves having a job, being involved and getting attention, although she’s also proved herself perfectly capable of chilling.

She’s great with dogs, children, farrier and vet. She is sedated for clipping because apparently we all have our boundaries. 😂 She loads beautifully and travels quietly.

Izzy is a gorgeous, characterful mare who likes her routine. She prefers not to be completely alone in the field but is perfectly happy standing at shows all day with a haynet when other horses are around. She’s also happy stabled during the wetter winter months and has no stable vices.

She has recently had both hocks medicated with Arthramid and is now ready to continue a comfortable ridden career in whichever sphere suits her new person.

💔 This is a genuinely heartbreaking decision for her owner.

Izzy was bought with dreams of beautiful rides together around the New Forest. Unfortunately, Izzy had other ideas and has decided that New Forest crab flies are the spawn of Satan and she would quite frankly prefer to live somewhere they don’t exist. 😭😂

For that reason alone, her owner feels she would be much happier living outside the New Forest environment.

She is being rehomed through absolutely no fault of her own and will only go to a knowledgeable, loving home outside the Forest.

Izzy would best suit a competent older child, teenager, small adult or mother/daughter share looking for a genuine pony to enjoy hacking, clinics, schooling, jumping and generally having fun with.

She is currently being ridden by a competent 14-year-old who absolutely adores her.

❤️ A very much loved pony looking for her next very special person.

🚫 NO BEGINNERS PLEASE.
🏡 Home will be vetted.

And yes, if her owner could simply negotiate with the bloody crab flies instead, Izzy wouldn’t be going anywhere. 😭❤️

🚨 BATMAN STRIKES AGAIN. 🦇🐈‍⬛

Someone made the rookie mistake of leaving their lunch in the car… apparently believing a car door was sufficient security against Batman. 😂

It wasn’t.

Lunch has been located, investigated and partially consumed. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Someone’s going hungry today… and once again, it definitely isn’t bloody Batman. 😭🐈‍⬛

At this point, we don’t own a cat. We employ a furry little burglar. 😂
