Been another busy busy week! Lovely to catch up with the lovely Flame (FLAMBOYANCE) for his regular treatment at regular clients . These horses are athletes but even the toughest of athletes carry soreness and tension. This video is a lovely example of what regular physio can do for a racehorse, as you can see him soften more and more as the treatment goes on. Flame has gone on to win a race in the last week, and routine physio like this makes such a difference in helping him feel his best and perform at the top of his game. Whether it’s a race, sport horse or pleasure horse - keeping your horse comfortable and at their best is always a priority!

Bit of a re introduction for you!

Hi, I'm Molly, a Chartered Human & Veterinary Physiotherapist. I work with horses, dogs and people that carry pain in their bodies, and my job is to find where it's locked in and release it.
Here's the thing: horses are athletes. And we wouldn't expect a human athlete to just show up and perform without preparation, mobility work, and recovery. Yet that's what we often do with our horses.

What I do: I observe. I find the niggles, the restrictions, the small issues that add up. Then I fix them before they become big problems.

Targeted soft tissue work, manual release, stretching protocols, TENS, laser therapy and rehabilitation plans. The goal is always the same-help your horse move better, feel better, and perform better.
Whether your horse is competing, hacking, or just living their best life, tension and restriction affect everything. Breathing. Movement quality. Willingness. Recovery.
I find what's off and bring it back.

Originally trained as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Molly expanded to humans completing her post graduate physiotherapy diploma in Wales 📚

Molly has a keen interest in all neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and enjoys her sideline work at rugby in the weekends 🏉

Outside of work you will find her outdoors exploring New Zealand or on horse back having competed in eventing, hunting and mounted games 🐴
