The beautiful Stella was brought into the rescue yesterday and you can clearly tell how well looked after and adored she had been❤️

Rehoming a pet is never easy and probably one of the hardest things to do, we understand no matter the circumstance and are always here to help.

At primitive pets we take on rescue reptiles and birds. We currently have space available so if you or anyone you know needs a helping hand, give us a shout. We also offer free advice and in the event we are unable to help, we will try our hardest to find alternate options.

Reservation is now possible for these stunners😍

We have two beautiful captive bred (in store) Flying Geckos nearly ready to go!! Very rarely seen in the uk reptile scene, these geckos are extremely fascinating to observe and make amazing additions to any collection🦎

With regular handling these guys tame down, they can be skittish at times but just need space to settle into new environments.

Birth certificates come with the purchase of the Flying Geckos, showing the details of the parents which have all been captive bred too😃

It’s time to introduce you all to these gorgeous girlies!! Crackle and Flops❤️

They both came in as rescues and were kept together in a wooden tank with an exposed heat bulb and no decor☹️ Due to this, they have slight deformities. We have had them checked over and they have passed all health examinations with flying colours (obviously they have physical deformities but this does not restrict them).

Crackle has a deformed spine likely due to incorrect/ no supplementation or lighting. This has caused her to suffer with MBD as seen on her back. She is extremely active and her deformity doesn’t slow her down one bit🤩

Flops has floppy tail syndrome, this can be caused from long periods of time being upside down likely due to no cover/places to hide. She also arrived with burnt pads which made it hard for her to stick to surfaces, this has since been amended through her shedding her damaged skin. She has slight balance issues but is slowly becoming more stable as she has been provided with decor close to the floor to build back that muscle/balance.

They are both up for rehome, we will not be rehoming them together/in the same tank.

✨NOW REHOMED✨

Miss Mirabel is now our longest rescue resident, still yet to find her forever home☹️

She has been with us now for just over 7months, we have had some interest in her but this has fallen through many times.

Mirabel is extremely friendly and loves to come out, you may have seen her in store as she is constantly at the glass watching the world go by☺️

When it comes to feeding she turns into a dustbin, she will clear her entire pot and have room for bugs too!

If you can offer a home to this gorgeous crested gecko, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

🐍 Cb24 Corn Snakes🐍

These little cuties have been with us for some time now, we are still scratching our heads as to why (look at their cute little faces😍)

Corn snakes make great additions to any family setting. They may seem a little skittish at first but will settle down when they become comfortable with their surroundings!

We guarantee that they will never miss a feed, if they could, they would eat until they popped😅

🐶Hand knitted dog jumpers🐶

Hand knitted dog jumpers are now in stock with several different sizes! We can even send off requests to get them made specifically for your pooch😃

They come in a variety of colours and have a little bit of stretch to them which makes it breathable and less restricting when your four legged friend is on the move.

Some jumpers are made to specific sizes and can rub under the arms and around the neck which will cause irritation, because our jumpers are made with a soft stretchy material this is prevented!

✨Cb24 Normal Western Hognose with Full Hatchling Set Up✨

We have a gorgeous Hognose up for grabs with a full hatchling set up for just £280!!!

She’s in shed at the moment so looks a bit spooky👻 She is a little huffy (normal Hognose temperament😅) but it’s just all sass! Once she is out, she is a delight to handle and a very interesting snake🐍

✨Cb24 Darwin Het Albino Carpet Python✨

Finally caught this delight out basking on her cork bark this morning (She knows how pretty she is😍).

These guys are a fantastic example of what a primitive snake is! They have a gorgeous triangular head and have immense power behind those jaws🐍

We have a few females available and also a lovely male Caramel Carpet Python. All have fab temperaments and feeding like there is no tomorrow.

We have an amazing pair of Southwest Spiny Tailed Geckos now available🦎

I mean……. Look at how gorgeous their patternings are and their eyes!!

This species remain fairly small and are not commonly seen. Their bright eyes make them stand out from other gecko species. They can tolerate being handled and need an arboreal enclosure.
