🐾 Meet Tony Tiger! 🐾

Tony is our sweet and gentle 3 year old boy who is searching for his forever home! Though he’s a little shy at first, he’s quickly warming up to being fussed over and will even grab your hand to keep the attention going! 🐱

This big softie loves being groomed and will lean into the brush for tummy rubs, this could be a great way for new owners to build a trusting relationship! He’s a laid-back guy who enjoys relaxing, and while he’s not keen on being picked up, with patience, he’ll warm up to more cuddles.

Tony is best suited to a home where he can be the only pet, as he’s ready to be the center of attention! We feel Tony can live with cat-savvy children of secondary school age, and he’s looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. 🧡

Today we waved goodbye to Amber, she has been here with us for 312 days so it's safe to say it was all happy tears from the staff to see her go to her forever home!

🌻It's a warm, sunny, spring morning here at the centre🌻

Chase (Cane Corso) and Cupid (Husky) have been out for a cool morning stroll soaking up the sun, just look at how happy they are! (And honestly I'd rather be sat relaxing on the grass with them rather than behind a computer typing this😭).

We aren't currently accepting new applications for Chase, however Cupid is still looking for his 'Perfect Match'

🌈☀💐Happy first day of spring!💐☀🌈

Our dogs here at the centre are enjoying a nice sunbathe in our paddocks or enjoying a long walk in the cool breeze
Amber here seems to really be enjoying all the new smells coming from the flowers! 🌻

Amber is reserved an we are no longer accepting applications for her, but she would love to see her other canine (and feline!) friends to go to new homes 💞

🐾Everyone give a warm welcome to James🐾

James is a beautiful 2 year old boy. He is sweet, friendly, and gentle, and enjoys the company of people and is particularly fond of gentle affection. While he is generally calm, James can be a little unsure at times, especially when it comes to more invasive handling, such as during health checks. He has been known to swipe or nip if he feels uncomfortable, so it is important to take things slow and not push him to do something he isn’t ready for. With time and trust, however, we believe James will become a much easier cat to manage and will allow those he trusts to handle him with ease.

In new surroundings, James tends to be relaxed overall, although he can be a bit wary at first. His natural curiosity soon takes over, and he becomes more at ease with his environment. When in his pod, he is usually relaxing in his bed or soaking up the sunshine outside. James also seems to enjoy being groomed and will lean into the brush during grooming sessions. He enjoys it for short periods, but will let you know when he has had enough and will calmly get down on his own. While he can be a bit tentative with new people, he warms up quickly, especially if approached gently. He hasn’t shown much interest in toys at the cattery, but this could change in a new home as he grows more comfortable and confident. James is becoming increasingly adventurous, gradually exploring further from his pod each day, although his explorations are still short-lived as he returns to the comfort of his familiar space.

James can still be startled by loud noises, but he is growing in confidence every day. He is quite good with other cats, remaining calm and not forcing interaction, and we believe he could live with another friendly cat. He would also likely do well with a calm and cat-friendly dog, as long as a slow and positive introduction is made. James could be a good companion for gentle children of older primary school age and above.

🐕🐾Bed Appeal🐾🐕

Lily, our foster co-ordinator, is doing such a good job fostering out our animals recently that we have no comfy beds left to give out to our prospective fosterers!

We're looking for some small / medium soft beds to use for our animals. If you can help, we have a donation bin outside the centre everyday from 9am-5pm, or our reception is open 11am-3.30pm every day other than Wednesdays.

🐾 Any donation is very much appreciated and welcomed by ourselves and our 4 legged counterparts.🐾

Our 4 legged residents are in need of some Chappie meat for those sensitive tummies and fussy eaters.

If you can help, we have a donation bin outside our Animal Centre on New Cut Lane (PR8 3DW) from 9am - 5pm every single day. Our reception is also open 11am - 3.30pm every day except from Wednesdays.

🐕🐾 Everyone say hello to Daisy! 🐾🐕

Our 1-year-old Cockapoo ready for her new furever home.

Daisy is a shy girl, but with time, love and patience she soon gains her confidence. Daisy has been fortunate enough to spend some time in a foster home, around other animals (dogs, cats and rabbits) and children of a younger age. She has been noted to behave well around all of them and takes herself to a chosen safe space when it all gets a bit too much. Walks are where Daisy really starts to come into her own. She will happily walk alongside you, as well as explore the outside world. We feel that she would greatly benefit from an active house hold, where she can go on as many adventures as she wants.

Daisy is still getting the hang of toilet training. She would benefit from a home that will continue with this training, as well as not put too much pressure on her as she settles in. Daisy would also benefit from a routine in the household, as it does give her a sense of comfort.

Daisy would benefit from a calm but active home. She could potentially live with another compatible dog, a dog-savvy cat and children of primary school age.

Everyone meet Chase, our big, friendly 2-year-old playful cane corso X.
Chase acts like he is still a young pup (despite being 35kg+), he loves being out of his kennel, running around the paddock or sensory garden, or even going on a nice offsite walk. On his walks he takes everything in and is interested in his environment and what’s going on around him. He enjoys sniffing and walks nicely after an initial excitement of going out.
He likes the company of other dogs and has played nicely at the centre with a female of similar size to him.
Chase can sometimes be a little unsure in new environments and situations and can be seen to be stop and observe unfamiliar things and appears to be curious and intrigued.
He loves his food and loves to play with toys. He knows basic commands but will require more reward based training and continued socialising to help him continue to flourish. Chase enjoys learning new things through short bursts of training sessions integrated with his playtime.
Chase hasn’t spent much time in a home environment, he will need toilet training and helped in his new home to adjust. He is looking for an active household who can give him plenty of exercise to keep him happy and healthy.
We believe he could possibly live with a compatible female dog depending on the breed but no cats. He could also live in a house with dog-savvy children 16+. Chase needs a home were his adopters have large breed experience as well as the strength to walk this friendly giant!
