🐾✨ PET OF THE DAY — Meet Remy! ✨🐾

This handsome boy belongs to our Nurse Owner, Shelley, and many of you will already know him as our unofficial welcome committee! 💙

Remy can often be found relaxing on the reception desk, greeting clients with a waggy tail and plenty of charm while helping make everyone feel at home at Manchester Street Vets. 🐶

Be sure to say hello next time you visit! 🐾

🐾 Found a lump on your pet? Don’t panic — but don’t ignore it either.

Lumps and bumps are very common in dogs and cats, especially as they get older. Some are harmless fatty lumps, cysts, or skin tags… but others can be more serious. The tricky part is that you usually can’t tell just by looking or feeling.

It’s a good idea to have any new lump checked by one of our vets, especially if it:
🔹 Appears suddenly
🔹 Is growing quickly
🔹 Changes shape or colour
🔹 Feels firm or attached
🔹 Causes pain, licking, or irritation

Early checks can give you peace of mind — and if treatment is needed, catching problems early often leads to better outcomes.

A simple examination or fine needle sample is often all that’s needed to learn more.

If you notice a new lump or bump on your pet, book a check-up and keep an eye on any changes. 🐶🐱

Today we remember that hero's come in all shapes, species and sizes.
Please take a moment today to join us and reflect about the animal heros that have fought along side, and often laid down their lives, for our troops in the many conflicts there have been across the globe.
Thank you

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
