This will enable me to spend more time with my home boarding dogs, visiting cats and dog grooming, I am still available to microchip saddles and tack as well as cats and dogs, I am also taking bookings for pet sitting and dog home boarding, I have a five star licence for home boarding,

A new law requiring horse owners to microchip their animals has been introduced today to prevent abuse and improve welfare. From October 2020 it will be mandatory for all owners to microchip their horses, ponies and donkeys.

"We have today laid new regulations in Parliament requiring horses to be microchipped. This will bolster the ability of local authorities and police to identify abandoned animals, ensuring these beautiful creatures receive the care they deserve and that those who mistreat them will face the consequences.” Animal Welfare Minister Lord Gardiner on the new equine law.

We now have our flyers and business cards. A good stock of chips and good weather so we can get out and about.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. £18.00 per item plus a fee to cover milage. ( if you have more than one item to chip its £18.00 for the first and £8.00 for each item thereafter, in your name )

Q. What areas do we cover?
A. we are based in Greater manchester we can travel for multiple items being chipped
send us your postcode and amount of items to be chipped and we will send a quote.

Q. How are the chips traced?
A. They are used the same as with pets once missing/stolen they are registered on the database as stolen.
and if anyone offers them for sale they can be scanned for proof of ownership.

Q. What if the saddle is re-flocked?
A. the chip can be re-inserted as it does not have to be sterile.

Q. Where is the chip inserted?
A. It can be inserted anywhere there is a seam on the saddle you can choose where.

Q. Where are the owners details stored?
A. We register your item once chipped with the company we purchase chips from
your details are then stored on the database there. you will be given the log in details for any changes
you need to make ( address or phone number changes ) or even the sale of tack. or to register it stollen.

Q.Can anyone insert the chips?
A. You have to complete a microchipping course on animals and receive a certificate of qualification then
ask the company you purchase equipment from if they will register items other than pets.

I will prepare a FAQ and post online as there seems to be a lot of Q ‘s about the service. Clearly I can’t answer all Q’s this way but if you do have a specific Q please feel free to inbox me.
Also I can’t give quotes on visits on her so again inbox me your postcode and how many items are being chipped. And I will work out a price.
